Mohammad was a great guide and very knowledgeable. There were only two of us on the tour, but he took his time and answered every question we had. We were looking for a few specific souvenirs and he told us where to find them and took us to the best locations for each thing we were looking for.
We had a fabulous and enjoyable day with Faith our tour guide. He spent time explaining both the history and life in Istanbul. It started with a boat ride, bazaars, mosques , local culture. Sampling delicious food and teas ending with a late lunch.
We had a fabulous walking tour of Istanbul yesterday with Ozge. She was very informative and interesting and brought us to places that we would never have found on our own, including a fab little restaurant for Turkish food and a shop selling the most delicious Turkish delight but with no pressure at all to buy ( but we did …. It was too delicious not to !) Ozge also gave us tips on how to get around the city and other places of interest to visit ourselves and she was great for taking photos too! Would 100% recommend this tour to anyone interested in seeing the hidden parts of Istanbul and to learn about the history and culture of this vibrant city.
My family and I had a fantastic tour with Ozge yesterday. She had so much information to offer and tailored the tour perfectly to our interests and based off of what we had already seen. Ozge gave us a great insight of their culture. We tried local food and beverages and she brought us to local cafes and restaurants we never would’ve found on our own! Very interesting tour that showed us lesser known sites and experiences. Our guide was knowledgable, friendly and engaging. Only two of us on the tour so we got very personal attention. Highly recommend this tour to expand your Istanbul experience.
We have been to Istanbul several times before. This time we came to areas that we did not know. Our guide was very good and explained a lot to us.
The Jewish quarter was nice to walk through and different to other parts of Istanbul. You also see other parts of the city away from the old town which is also very worthwhile.
This is certainly for travelers who do not like to conform - we were staying next to the Topkapi palace and decided to do this, and were so glad we did. Our guide was impressive - the rainy day did not stop him from spending the entire day with us, longer than he was booked for. We got to see the bazaars, got good advice about what to buy, ate in a hole-in-the-wall restaurant which was amazing, rode public transit and hit some insta spots too as an added bonus. Well worth it!! A priceless gem if you truly want to learn about the culture.
