Gareth was a wealth of information! He was so friendly, knowledgeable and engaging. He was entertaining, interesting and funny. Pick up was easy and convenient, made very flexible for our circumstances. Also, because it was a cab, access to areas was easier and much more personal than the bus tours we saw along the way. I would highly recommend this tour.

We had a wonderful day exploring Liverpool with Ian from Mad Day Out. His knowledge, storytelling and genuine passion for Liverpool and The Beatles made the tour truly special. He was charming, attentive and incredibly knowledgeable, and the beautiful electric taxi was the perfect way to discover the city. We know that whenever we hear a Beatles song in the future, we’ll remember the places Ian took us and the stories he shared. A beautiful and lasting memory. Wow we highly recommend a private taxi tour with this privately owned company. Ian was our driver and was awesome...lots of indepth info about each one of the Beatles. Took our pics at each place. Very professional and friendly and answered any questions we had. I could go on and on about how fun he made our tour. I've taken group tours before but this far exceeded them!!!!! We absolutely loved this tour! We drove around Liverpool in Ian’s iconic yellow London cab, singing along to the Beatles songs. Ian is very passionate about Liverpool’s famous lads. We learnt about the writing of their songs, Penny Lane, while driving down this lane, Strawberry Fields, stopping there for a coffee break, Eleanor Rigby, while visiting the Church and cemetery, just to name a few. We visited their homes, their statues and murals. Ian then became photographer, making sure we took home photos of our tour with. We throughly recommend this tour, look for the yellow cab! Well worth the day trip from London, specifically to do this tour. Thank you Ian, we have not stopped talking about this day, you made it all the more enjoyable.
We had a FABULOUS time with Ian. My granddaughter LOVES the Beatles, and Ian did NOT disappoint! Ian nearly overwhelmed us with Beatles details, but we stayed enthralled. John Lennon's sister even came up to the taxi to talk with Ian; we were awed! Thank you so very much, Ian, for a fantastic day in Liverpool!

As a father-daughter duo whose knowledge of the Beatles is extremely deep, we booked Ian’s seven hour Gretsch tour with high expectations. It’s no exaggeration to say our time with him was magical, certainly something we’ll fondly recall forever. He clocked us right away for the obsessives we are and conducted the tour accordingly. We especially enjoyed visiting Paul and George’s Speke homes as well as spending time behind Mendips on Vale Road where several of John and Paul’s friends lived. Getting an overall sense of geographic location (including time in Ringo’s Dingle neighborhood) was fascinating. It’s not enough to say Ian was knowledgeable for he’s certainly that; we learned a lot from him, but it was more like spending time with a friend, reveling in our mutual love for the Beatles.
We had an incredible time on the private Hofner Tour with Ian. He was extremely nice, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Because we had already visited a few of the places normally included, we asked if he could modify the route, and he happily tailored the tour for us. That personal attention made the experience even more special. The entire tour was fascinating, memorable, and truly unforgettable. We highly recommend Ian to anyone visiting Liverpool, especially Beatles fans!
We had Steve as our guided 3 hours tour . And found him absolutely brilliant from booking dates till the end of the tour. He responds very quickly and clear without being in limbo He has a great knowledge of the Beatles and was funny with his explanations . We seen the Beatles homes with stories to match . We seen strawberry fields and places they used to meet at . Even went to places where it would match a Beatles song , like penny lane , Eleanor rigby etc If we go Livepool.again which we will ,id definitely do another tour with Steve. just for the fun of the experience again. Would definitely recommend this tour for any Beatles fan.And make an album with free prints for memories. And Steve will take all of your photos
