This private tour for the 4 of us from the LaSpezia port was wonderful! Roberto was an excellent driver and guide! Since it was late October and the olives were beginning to be harvested, I wrote to Julia in the Luccalimo office to ask if we could visit an olive oil mill (frantoio). Roberto took us to his home and his own olive grove and to the frantoio co-op that processes the olives into oil! We bought several tins of his own organic olive oil from him as well! The entire day was incredible!! Julia is great, and will answer any and all of your questions immediately, and be sure to request Roberto! He also sent me multiple links for restaurants, more frantoios, and places to visit for the rest of our trip in Italy!
