It was such an enjoyable evening! This tour is an excellent way to get to know Oxford, learn about the city and the university, and experience some of its iconic pubs, all while listening to the fascinating stories the guide, Matias, shares along the way. We explored literary Oxford, visited pubs connected to student life, discovered hidden gems and medieval taverns, and finished at a historic pub once associated with trade and money. An experience I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who enjoys real ales, great storytelling, and cities with medieval roots.

A wonderful evening tour experience with a very interesting guide in Oxford! What a way to spend a lovely evening exploring the city and having a drink too :) Would recommend!

Tom was incredibly knowledgeable and clearly passionate about Oxford and the shows. He knew so many interesting facts, not only about Inspector Morse and Inspector Lewis, but about Oxford itself, which made the tour so much more enjoyable. He even threw in some Harry Potter facts because he remembered that I love Harry Potter, which was such a lovely personal touch! Unfortunately, the weather took a turn and it started absolutely chucking it down with rain. Tom kindly gave me his umbrella and ended up getting soaked himself without complaining once. He also took some really lovely photos of me and my dad, making sure we had some special memories to take home with us. Eventually, the rain became so heavy that we had to cut the tour short, but Tom was so lovely and understanding throughout. His kindness, knowledge and enthusiasm really made the experience special despite the weather. I would 100% recommend Tom to anyone looking to do an Oxford tour. Alasdair's countenance shakes speares. We wended our way around Oxford, dodging the ghosts of August Past. When we got to the Turf, we ruminated. We had a choice between the Plough, the Crown and the middle of Orion's belt. We chose the Bear.

It was a very pleasant and interesting tour. Matías, our guide, took us to the oldest pubs, each with its own story. In the end, he took us to a very good pub for dinner to try the typical meat pie while we watched a World Cup match.

Peter our tour guide was very informative and friendly. We learned so many interesting facts about Oxford and visited some very cool pubs.

Peter was an excellent guide for this tour, full of informative stories and a wealth of historical information. The tour had the potential to be awkward as I was the only one on it, but Peter was an excellent companion and I thoroughly enjoyed the pub visits and will take advantage of some of his food and sightseeing recommendations.

We had a great pub tour with Alisdair! It was a perfect mix of city history and sites and stops at some of the historic pubs around town. Alisdair is very knowledgable and has great stories to tell. It was a great introduction to Oxford!

Peter was an excellent guide for my husband, friend and myself as we explored Oxford our first night in town. We had a couple of pints throughout the tour and got a mix of history including the university, literary figures, and even a touch of Harry Potter. Peter was very knowledgeable and gave a great overview of the city, including many tips and tricks for the remainder of our stay. Would happily join one of this company's tours again!
