Rita was very knowledgeable and gave a great introduction to Osaka, its history, and its spirit. Plus there was a nice break for a local snack.

It was a fantastic experience giving a great profile of the city of Osaka. We had lovely food, Mikano was the best guide with great English skills. It was a good walking pace. I would fully recommend this walk as a great start in Ōsaka.

Hide gave us a wonderful overview of Osaka. We as Americans were joined by two Japanese who were unfamiliar with the town as well. Started at the Osaka train station for about a half an hour, which is beautiful and the elevated view of the city and explanation of the geography, history, population, demographics, and where this region fits into the country of Japan was wonderful. Experienced the subway, and several markets one more typical, one high-end, and one food walking street. Saw a couple of Shinto temples and a Buddhist temple and were given a basic overview of both religions and where they fit into Japanese society. Had some wonderful deep fried skewers in a cute little restaurant where we ate inside of VW van! Finished with his recommendation for a great restaurant, which did not disappoint us as well. Hide could not have been nicer. Getting there was a little tricky so leave some extra time when you try to get to Osaka station to find the start. We are very thankful for the great hospitality and experience that we had!

We had a good time with Rika. She gave us specific directions on where to meet. Do note that Osaka Station is busy and can be complicated as well. We had no issues with Tokyo or Kyoto. She was very sweet and showed us 3 main areas of Osaka… all of them a little different from the other. She had some funny stories to go along with our tour. I recommend this tour with her especially if you do not have much time in Osaka.

A great trip visiting various districts in Osaka with our guide. Various stops on the way to local retail locations made it very personal.

This was our first tour while visiting Japan and it was the perfect start. Yahiro taught us so much about history, culture and our surroundings! His goal was for us to love Osaka and he succeeded. He created lifetime memories for all of us!
