Keita guided our great day trip from Tokyo to Mt. Fuji area. He was friendly and adaptable to my brother's needs (he uses a manual tilt 18"x 16" wheelchair). Kei was able to outline for us of the places that had wheelchair accessible bathrooms, and gave options of what we could access with a wheelchair. Alternatives were provided as my brother could not transfer out of his personal wheelchair to the museum wheelchair. When we were doubtful about getting down the steep ramp to the boat dock for the lake boat trip, Kei reassured us that the boat company staff had assisted others in a wheelchair and they successfully got him down and back up the ramp. Kei was knowledgeable about Mt. Fuji and surrounding area. The wheelchair accessible van was adequate for our needs (fit the wheelchair, and 3 passengers at the back). The tour did not include the boat trip price (1000 yen per ticket) nor lunch. We would recommend Kei for an accessible day trip to Mt. Fuji from Tokyo. Just let him know what your needs are and he can outline what your options are!

They had a wheelchair vehicle that could accommodate our son and met us at our hotel in Tokyo to take us to Mount Fuji for the day. Keita was a wonderful guide and was very friendly, helpful and informative. We had a wonderful day with a boat trip, tempura meal and various sites to explore. Highly recommended.

Great trip - I’m a fulltime wheelchair user and guide was very considerate and knowledgeable about what I could see and do. Even though Mt Fuji was covered by clouds the day we went it was still an awesome day and greeat to get out of Tokyo for the day.

Rie was absolutely an incredible host/guide. We had such a great experience and she and the driver took care of us at every step along the journey. She customized everything to our preferences and we enjoyed learning about the history of Japan and Mount Fuji. If you are in a wheelchair or have someone in your party who needs one, this is the tour for you. I would request Rie as she is the best!!!!
