Carolina made sure we were first in line to enter the Uffizi, and she gave us a most engaging tour of the Museum’s most famous works of art before they became surrounded by crowds of people. She also gave us excellent information about the Pallazo Vecchio, Cosimo I and his wife, Eleanor, and the history and construction of the Uffizi. She knew all about the art we saw and gave us information that enhanced our appreciation of these masterpieces, their creators, and their sponsors. It was a delightful tour.

I have long wanted to visit the Uffizzi museum with my family on a guided tour. There were 8 of us including 4 children (8-14 years) and the grandmother of 74 years. Alessia was an exceptional guide, punctual and attentive to the needs and desires of all members of the group. His sensitivity, empathy and flexibility made all the difference. Moreover, thanks to the disposable headphones and the audio system we listened to Alessia's explanations always very well even in the presence of many people in the rooms without disturbing others. I had already visited the Uffizzi but without the guide, I can assure you that the guide is more than necessary especially if you visit this museum with family and children.

Our family just returned from a trip to Italy. One of the high points of our trip was touring the Uffizi Gallery and the Accademia Gallery in Florence with Alessia as our private guide. Alessia was very communicative and helpful with our pre-trip preparations for visiting these two "must-see" sites in Florence. On the day of our tour, she was skillful at helping us navigate the entry into the museums which were incredibly packed with tourists. Alessia adeptly guided us through all of the galleries, making sure that we saw and learned about not only the big-name pieces of art we wanted to see, but also some of the lesson-known, but equally as interesting, works of art. Alessia is knowledgeable, professional, and very easy to work with. Our tour was fantastic and we highly recommend her a private guide!

I would highly recommend Alessia to do a private tour of the Uffizi — she was professional, knowledgeable, took us straight to all the “must see” art in the museum, and could answer any question we asked her about any piece we came across. She was able to make the tour interesting as well and had our rapt attention for the whole duration of the 2.5 hour tour. She also was kind enough to give us other recommendations about where to go to eat in the city and what to see. Can’t say enough good things about her!

It was a fascinating journey into past ages, through art. With the guide Alessia we appreciated even more the beautiful works of the Uffizi.

It was a 2-hour private tour at the Uffizi Gallery. The Guided Tour was excellent. The descrition of the paintings was very interesting, with some biographical notes about the artists, with historical details of the Medici family, and of Florence during the Reinassance. Our guide was never out of focus and kept our interest very vivid throughout the tour. I will recommend Guided Tours of Florence to all my friends. Maria
