We booked this tour expecting to see the Leaning Tower, but Florence ended up being the highlight for our family. Walking through the historic center was fascinating, and even our teenagers appreciated the atmosphere. Pisa was exactly as beautiful as the photos suggest, although seeing it with your own eyes is something completely different. The bus was comfortable, and the instructions throughout the day were clear. Overall, it felt like a very well-planned excursion.

Sometimes shore excursions feel rushed, but this one struck a nice balance. We enjoyed wandering through Florence together, stopping for gelato and taking in the atmosphere without constantly watching the clock. Pisa was smaller but equally enjoyable, especially standing in front of the Leaning Tower after seeing it in books for so many years. The transportation was comfortable and everything went according to plan. It became one of our favorite cruise memories.

This trip gave our group the chance to experience two very different cities in one day. Florence impressed us with its art, architecture, and vibrant streets, while Pisa offered a more relaxed setting centered around its famous tower. We appreciated having some free time rather than following a strict schedule every minute. The drive between locations was pleasant, and the return to La Spezia was on time for our cruise departure. We would happily do this tour again.

Traveling with children can sometimes make day trips stressful, but this one worked out really well. The transportation was comfortable and everything stayed close to schedule, which made the day much easier for our family. Florence gave us enough time to admire the architecture and enjoy a relaxed lunch, while Pisa was perfect for photos and a short walk around the famous square. It was a busy day but never felt chaotic. We returned to the ship with plenty of good memories and were glad we chose this excursion.

Excellent guides and very considerate. They were on time and we got back to our cruise port in time for our departure for our Celebrity Xcel. You must expect a lot of walking because the buses and vans can’t go right Into the town squares. My mother was in a wheelchair and they were really accommodating. She was able to walk into and out of the van but if you are with someone elderly and want to be on time with the group you will want to plan on leaving early to get back to the meeting spot because it is difficult to get a wheelchair down the rough roads and take a lot more time than normal walking.

This excursion turned out to be one of our favorite experiences during our Mediterranean cruise. Florence was full of charm, with lovely streets, elegant churches, and peaceful squares where we enjoyed simply walking together. Pisa was the perfect ending to the day, and taking the classic tower photos was more fun than we expected. The journey between destinations was smooth, and everything was organized without being too rigid. We came back tired but very happy with how the day unfolded.

Our Florence and Pisa excursion had the potential to be an amazing experience because both destinations are absolutely beautiful and filled with history, culture, and incredible sights. Florence was breathtaking, and seeing the famous landmarks was truly special. Pisa was also a wonderful place to visit, and seeing the Leaning Tower in person was a memorable moment. However, the biggest disappointment was the limited amount of time we were given in each location. There was simply not enough time to properly explore, take in the beauty, enjoy the atmosphere, or fully appreciate everything these incredible places have to offer. We felt rushed throughout the day, which took away from what could have been a truly unforgettable experience. With more time in both Florence and Pisa, this excursion would have been absolutely outstanding. These cities deserve the opportunity to be enjoyed at a more relaxed pace.

This was a very unprofessional tour though the tour guide himself was fine. First, we were short two seats on the bus. One passenger had to sit in the jump seat next to the driver. The driver had to sit on the floor for the almost 5 hr drive. Second, you had to walk an additional 3 1/2 miles round trip in Florence just to get to the start is the tour or pay a taxi which we did. Also in Pisa, had they not added a trolley at the last minute , you were expected to walk another 1 1/2 miles round trip to the start of the tour. Due to the poor logistics, we had little time in both places. I have done numerous Viator tours and this one was the most disappointing.

Sonia was the BEST guide for Cinque Terre! A wonderful and carefully planned tour for our group with mobility and age. Sonia knew exactly how to plan and adjust the itinerary so everyone could enjoy Cinque Terre with good steps and enjoyment. Highly recommend!!!
