While Bruges is a beautiful city, our trip and boat ride were somewhat mired by horrendous weather, with constant and heavy rain from the start to the end of the excursion. To compound things, our guide had, like a plethora of others, a beige umbrella, which was difficult to spot, which spoilt to narrative. Finally my party included 2 partially disabled guests and we weren’t advised that this was a walking tour of nearly 2 hours!!

There was much more walking than indicated. Could not hear the guide very well, and he walked too fast for some of us.

Very nice tour and guides. There is a lot of walking on very uneven terrain. The canal cruise was enjoyable. The only negative was we had to wait 30 minutes for a late couple before departing from the port.

This was our first visit to Bruges, and the excursion made the day very easy to enjoy. We were traveling with children and grandparents, so convenience mattered a lot. The transportation was comfortable, and the instructions were very clear from start to finish. The city tour gave us enough history to appreciate the area without becoming too detailed for younger travelers. The canal cruise was probably the highlight for our kids because they enjoyed seeing the bridges and old buildings from the water. We also liked that there was free time to sit in the market square and try local desserts before returning to the ship. It felt like a balanced excursion and worked well for families wanting a calm and scenic day.

My partner and I wanted a shore excursion that allowed us to experience Bruges without feeling overly touristy, and this tour worked well for us. The city itself is beautiful, but the canal cruise added a calm and romantic touch to the day. We especially liked walking through the quieter streets after the guided portion ended. The guide pointed out places locals actually visit, which made the experience feel more genuine. There was enough structure to keep everything stress-free, while still giving us flexibility to explore cafés and take photos together. The timing from the ship was well managed, and we never felt rushed getting back. If you're visiting Bruges for the first time and want a balanced mix of guidance and free time, this excursion is a solid option.

The irony is none of us could focus on the actual tour for long because every street looked like a place you stop for photos. I like the fact that the touw was no too strict. The guide didn't sound rehearsed and explained things and gave enough free time to wander around.

The canal cruise was especially relaxing and offered some beautiful views of areas I probably wouldn’t have found on my own. I also appreciated that the pace wasn’t exhausting. It felt like a good balance between sightseeing and personal time. I’d recommend it to solo travelers looking for a comfortable way to see Bruges during a cruise stop.

Very informative tour and you get to see a lot of Brugge. The water part of the tour was equally as nice. It’s not a very strenuous tour and was easy to follow along.

Everything was perfect, especially the vibe on the water is fantastic and having a this special tour means we get the best of Bruges secrets and history.
