A great tour by a very experienced and knowledgeable guide, Frankie. Frankie was entertaining & made the tour memorable.

Very good trip and good knowledgeable guide of Pompeii but trip back was not well organised - would have been good to have map of the site and some time in the museum and gift shop after but though we saw a lot we had to rush out

Fantastic. The transfer from and back to our hotel was extremely smooth. The visit of the site was excellent. We had Frankie as guide and you can’t imagine anyone better, more entertaining and knowledgeable. He was mindful of keeping us in the shade as much as possible, design an itinerary including the high points of the site while avoiding the crowds. We would highly recommend this tour.

Sasa was our guide, he was great! Very engaging, informative and considerate! It was our first time and would recommend him and the tour for sure!

Our guide, Sass, did an excellent job of explaining the history of Pompeii and the background leading up to the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius. We got a good glimpse of what life in the city was like. Viator does it again for setting up great tours with knowledgeable guides!

Tour and transportation were good. When you think about the cost of transport from Positano to Pompeii, and the tour tickets and a guide, I think it makes sense. But if you are budget conscious, I would review some alternative options. Our tour guide was phenomenal and made it a great experience!! Pickup is usually early if you go for the morning slot, so make sure to have your own coffee/breakfast if you need something before you get back. There are a couple small food stands when you arrive, but you don’t really have time to get anything.

The tour with Frankie was absolutely incredible! From the moment we were picked up, everything was seamless—the friendly driver took great care of us and handed us off to the coordinator, who set us up perfectly with Frankie. Even though it ended up pouring rain during the tour, Frankie turned it into one of the most memorable experiences of our trip. His energy, knowledge, and warmth kept everyone in great spirits, and our group had a fantastic time regardless of the weather. Truly unforgettable—highly recommend!

Our tour guide Frankie was very knowledgeable and funny and made this tour so memorable! The transfer service to/from Positano was seamless and so worth it. Enjoy Pompeii was wonderful; Would use again!

Excellent tour. Frankie is the best! Knowledgeable, funny, engaging. Everything you could want from a Pompeii tour. The site itself is amazing and Frankie really elevated the experience. My wife and I had a fantastic time.
