We had a terrific all-day tour of Buenos Aires, customized to our interests, with the intelligent, well-informed, patient, not to mention easy on the eyes guide for ICO, Barbara. She has been guiding for many years herself, but works as a team with her mother Elizabet, who coordinated organization of our preferences and wishes (including our request for an upscale excellent lunch in an air-conditioned venue ). Communication was timely and excellent from the beginning to the end. Barbara used a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle with a separate driver, so she could dedicate herself to conversing with us without distractions in between shuttles to the different venues we wanted to focus on. This was our first time in this fascinating city, and we greatly enjoyed our tour. We very strongly recommend ICO for Buenos Aires tours.

Elisabet was great, knowledgeable, and accommodating. There were very few questions we could throw at her that would stump her. She knew about buildings, trees, and now knows how to get a certificate of domicile if anyone needs one! Would highly recommend.

We toured with Barbara, but Elisabet is the one who helped me organize everything. Overall, it was wonderful communication and very easy to arrange. Everything was prompt and Elisabet responded exceedingly quickly to any questions or concerns. We had a wonderful tour and saw all of the highlights of the city. Barbara was a lovely guide with a lot of information, everything was flexible and we saw all of the highlights without a rush or concern. My wife and I had the pleasure of not only doing a Full Day City Tour with Iconic Buenos Aires, but a Gaucho Tour and Delta of Tigre tour. Elisabet, Claudia and Barbara were all so very amazing. The tours were very well planned out, but also allotted time for us to do some shopping along the way. In addition, the meal locations selected were excellent. Great information and conversation during all of the tours. Would highly recommend Iconic Buenos Aires for all your tour needs in and around Buenos Aires. We even arranged our airport transfers through them, which were very convenient and smooth.

Elisabet is the perfect guide to the beauties and treasures of Buenos Aires and its environs. Before our arrival, Elisabet made great recommendations about sites and activities and helped shape our 10-day visit to the city. From the moment of arrival, she facilitated transportation, currency exchange, and a magisterial tour of the various neighborhoods, explaining its history, geography, arts, and architecture. Elisabet organized a wonderful wine tasting expedition to the Gamboa vineyards. She also introduced us to the tranquility and joys of island exploration in the Tigre Delta. She is friendly, knowledgeable, and anticipates every possible need. She made our first visit to Argentina magical. You will not find a better guide to the wonders of this glorious city.

We hired Elizabet to give us an introductory tour of Buenos Aires. She has a great knowledge for the city ranging from history to culture for every bario! It was the perfect introduction and she continued to give us guidance through the remainder of the trip. It was the perfect start to our vacation. We highly recommend her.

We were lucky enough to have been introduced to Elisabet and Barbara online and feel so fortunate that we did! We were in Buenos Aires for 2 days prior to departing on a cruise and were looking for city tour options. My exchanges with Elisabet were nothing but professional and helpful. She gave us multiple options in how to construct our time and tour. The exchanges were so pleasant and well organized that not only did we confirm our full day tour prior to the cruise, we decided to book a half day tour (including airport drop off) for our return day! On the day of the full city tour, Barbara and our driver met us at our hotel and from there we had nothing but an amazing day with her. She has so much knowledge of the city and clearly explains the history and important facets such as the political environment, economy, social issues, etc. We had a great lunch of empanadas (though she gave us options) and it was a great chance to learn more about her and her own background. The second tour (our half day after the cruise) was equally impressive. While the first tour, at least in my opinion, was focused more on the historical context of the city (government buildings, important historical markers, etc. which was wonderful), the second day showed us a greater introduction to the local neighborhoods and "off the beaten path" places that we would not have gone otherwise (highly recommend Palermo Soho - it will be at the top of our list to visit when we return). All in all, we cannot say enough great things about Barbara and our time with her. We would recommend both she and Elisabet to anyone spending time in Buenos Aires!!!

We embarked on a cruise to Antarctica late December that began in Buenos Aires with a charter flight to Ushuaia and would end back in Buenos Aires. We decided to spend additional days in Buenos Aires after the cruise and looked for recommendations for private tours. We actually heard about this Mother/Daughter team through another site that is dedicated to cruise discussions. The recommendation for Iconic Buenos Aires came from a past guest on the same cruise. We contacted Elisabet through their website and she quickly came back with recommendations for us. We decided to book the full day city tour. This was absolutely the best decision for an amazing introduction to this city. The tour was conducted in a comfortable van with lots of leg room and Elisabet commentated as we drove. There was a very nice balance of driving and stops where we walked around different neighbourhoods. The tour exceeded our expectations and we visited places and learned history that we would not have otherwise been aware of. Elisabet knows of little hidden gems that you would walk by and never experience. This is the value of a private tour like this and someone so knowledgeable of their city and country. Elisabet has also arranged a dinner and Tango show two days from now for us and we will come back with a review of this too! We loved this tour and this was a day well spent. Thank you Elisabet!
