祇園のこの美しいエリアを歩きながら、ガイドが京都の芸者について、また芸者の生活様式について教えてくれます。
辰巳大明神（たつみだいみょうじん）は、京都にある神社で、特に旅人や武士の加護・福徳・安全を祀る。 創建は平安時代（794-1185年）で、辰巳地区に位置する。 歴史的には皇室や武家と結びついてきた。 典型的な神道建築が特徴で、特に桜の季節には風光明媚な景観で知られる。
祇園の一角にある、映画のワンシーンに足を踏み入れたような小さな伝統的な橋「辰巳橋 」 。 辰巳橋の周辺には、木造の魅力的な町家や伝統的な茶室、静寂に包まれた白河運河が点在しています。 特に桜の季節や提灯が歴史的な街並みを照らす夕方には美しく、幻想的な雰囲気が漂う。
花見小路通は祇園のメインストリート。 昔ながらの木造の町家や茶屋、ショップ、レストランが立ち並ぶ、昔ながらの風情が漂う魅力的な通り。 特に花見小路は、保存状態の良い建築と京都の花街文化との結びつきで有名で、京都の芸妓や舞妓が優雅に歩いている姿を目にすることができる。
祇園コーナーは、京都の豊かな文化遺産を彩る伝統芸能の数々を披露するユニークな文化会場。 会場では、熟練した実践者によって行われることが多い伝統芸能の総合的な紹介も行われる。 京都の芸術的伝統の奥深さを手軽に鑑賞できる、国内外から愛されるスポットです。
京都最古の禅寺で、花街の祇園の隣にあります。寺院の建物には入りませんが、地元の人のように境内を歩き、禅を感じます。
伝統ある茶室でプロフェッショナルなパフォーマンスをお楽しみください。 ガイドが通訳してくれるので、文化や歴史をより深く理解できます。また、舞妓さんや喫茶店の店主との会話もでき、リアルな声を知ることができます。

Great tour today. Machiko was a great guide and had a vast knowledge of everything in Gion and Kyoto.. The Meiko experience was amazing. Definitely recommend doing this tour.
An extraordinary experience!
We were very comfortable with Guide Harumi - she explained and gave just enough.information that made the tour interesting. Meeting a real Maiko was an eye opener
We spent a delightful afternoon with Ken, our guide, and his assistant ?Irin. Ken was friendly, courteous and extremely informative. We met a Meiko (in her 5th year of training to be a Geiko) who chatted to us and performed two exquisite dances. Fantastic!
Our guide Machiko made Gion come to life as we toured the different districts. The information we got on the tour prepared us for our time in the tea house. The talk from the tea house owner and the Maiko were really interesting and something most people will never get to experience. The performance actually brought tears to my eyes, it was so beautiful. The only thing I might suggest is that as nice as the sweets were, the American group behind us felt the need to crinkle their sweet wrappers through the presentation which was very distracting and disrespectful. I would have been happy with just the water. Thank you so much to the Maiko and her beautiful performance, the tea house owner for allowing us to have this opportunity and to the lovely Machiko for sharing her knowledge with us ❤️
I highly recommend this tour! It was split perfectly: half the time walking through the city learning all about the history of the Geisha's through the different streets and buildings and half meeting a Geisha and hearing of her experience. We learned so much about the culture and history. I highly recommend!
Our tour guide was U-ko. The tour was very informative, on time and well organized. The session with the Meiko was extremely interesting, and the explanations from the manager of the tea house were very helpful. The duration of the tour was just right. We would recommend this tour.
Our tour guide, Uko, was fantastic. We got to see the most beautiful parts of the Gion district we would not have explored on our own, and learned some history at the same time. I was really impressed by Uko's ability to interpret the flower language into English
The tour was absolutely amazing. Akiko, our guide, was extraordinary and well-versed with geishas and the history of it all. our party was small and intimate, which made for a very personalized experience. I would recommend this tour for anyone who is looking to see the historic side of Japan.
An authentic privilege. Being able to interact and ask questions to one of the 60 Maikos left in Gion was unforgettable! I will nevr forget this experience. And the guide Takuma was spectacular!
