It’s all about relaxation, feeling the breeze and looking at the ocean. This is not a beach excursion per set, it’s more about relaxing. Take a book, get yourself a massage, sleep in the hammock and feel like you are royalty . We absolutely loved it. Serene and just omg the kindness of the staff!!!!
Stunning beach club! So quaint which I appreciated. Only 40 guests are allowed. We had the upper deck patio with comfy beach loungers, large table, own bathroom and shower. Everything was arranged for us from pick up to drop off. The food was delicious and service was top notch. Thank you to our cab driver Gabriel, our 2 servers Antonio & Francisco they were extremely accommodating and made us feel like royalty.
Off the beaten path, everything from the transportation from the cruise port, to the amazing food (try the big platter, it's totally worth it!), to the incredible staff, it was the highlight of our 2 week cruise. Definitely recommend for anyone who wants a quiet, boujie afternoon at a virgin beach.
Came here during our honeymoon on a cruise. Some for the best food and drinks around. Service was phenomenal and the beach was good.
Cabana was very nice and food was good. Staff very friendly. The beach directly in front of the resort was very nice and taken care of. However, the surrounding beach was not as nice and contained lots of trash.
This place is definitely 10/10. The location was about a 25 minute drive from port, but absolutely worth it. The private beach and private deck area both were beautiful and secluded. Even the food is delicious! Huge shout out to the staff though. Those guys are amazing! They made our day truly special and the service was top-tier. We never had to look for them or ask for anything. If I could give this more stars, I would. Don’t skip over this place!
Please do it. This place does not get enough recognition. The staff is very attentive and respectful. The manager ensures the taxi service is on time to take you back to the port or any destination. Gabriel was on time if not early to pick us up from the Port, he always had a smile on his face and told us many stories about the land. If you don't want to do excursions and only want to enjoy peace and quiet, please do this with your group. It was literally only 6 of us at this private oasis. Don't let the long roads fool you, it is definitely worth it ! Communication was great through WhatsApp along with the response rate. I promise you won't be disappointed.

Amazing experience!!! The best service you could ever ask for and such a friendly staff. Weren’t a lot of options on our cruise and so glad we chose this place. Great food and drinks in a private relaxing atmosphere. Thank you for a memorable day!

Disgusting, smell of poop everywhere. We have been many times in the past with good experiences. Now they don't tell you how disgusting the places to get there and a lot of people just turn around and go back. They are also collecting a much larger deposit, very dishonest. Even if the place was clean in the future, I would never go back because the owner is so dishonest. They did not inform us of how disgusting the place was. Places definitely a health hazard with all the disgusting piles of crap.
Hello Stuart. We sincerely regret that your experience today was not what you expected. We completely understand your frustration —it is the same frustration and helplessness we, as owners and our team, feel daily during what has been the worst sargassum season in years. As you may have already seen in global news outlets, this is an environmental issue affecting much of the Caribbean, including Florida and Mexico’s beaches. Most likely, you witnessed the massive amounts of this macroalgae even from your cruise ship before arriving. Because we are not a dishonest company, we made the executive decision to inform all of our guests in advance about these beach and sea conditions. As you can verify, on September 5th at 9:42 a.m., you received a confirmation email that included the following information. In that message, we explicitly mention: • The possibility of sargassum being present. • That swimming conditions can vary. • That you are welcome to contact us prior to your visit for a live update on conditions. • And most importantly, that you may cancel your booking with a full refund up to 36 hours before arrival if the conditions are not to your liking. Since you have visited Hayhu on multiple occasions, you know very well that our beach is naturally beautiful, that our photos are real, and that our staff takes pride in offering excellent service, food, and drinks—things that we can control. What we cannot control is nature itself. It is possible that, being already familiar with our transportation process, you may not have read the confirmation email in full detail this time. However, please note that we did fulfill our duty of informing you. For that reason, we believe it is unfair to accuse us publicly of dishonesty when in reality we have been transparent and responsible in our communication. We sent you an email with the screenshot of the email we sent you that proves we did inform you about the situation. We kindly ask you to understand that while we respect your disappointment, your anger and rage to publicly attempting to damage our reputation will not change the fact that this is a serious problem that is affecting many fronts and tourism is for sure one of the most affected, we know it, it is an everyday struggle for everyone in this town and the whole riviera. We work very hard to continue being one of the best restaurants in Costa Maya, we maintain the same great ambience to enjoy first quality dishes and handcrafted cocktails that serve with love and dedication to our guests. Burning us on social media may help you handle your disappointment, but please know that these won't fix the problem and that it affects not only the owners, but the dozens of local families who depend on Hayhu for their livelihood. Regarding the deposit, yes, the deposits are now higher because we need to cover the price fot the transportation service that you did use and you are free to ask around to confirm this is the price that is charged to take you from the port to Hayhu. We did not get a dime out of it. If you wish, we remain at your disposal should you wish to discuss this matter further: If not, we still wish you all the best and we hope the universe grants you with a bit more empathy and understanding for things that are out of people's control.
