What a fabulous experience we had with Maria! We sampled a traditional waffle, visited a cheese shop, and tried the street food. Her knowledge of food was extraordinary and was complemented with a thorough commentary about the history of Amsterdam. Highly recommend!
We had such an amazing time on this food tour! Christian, our guide, is originally from London but has been living in the Netherlands for more than 15 years, and it shows – he knows all the best places and hidden corners of Amsterdam. The tour lasted about 3 hours (and went even a bit longer because we were enjoying it so much!) and included tastings of iconic Dutch treats: warm bitterballen, delicious cheeses, fresh herring, and more. Each stop came with great stories and fun facts about Dutch history and culture, which made the experience even richer. Christian’s passion for food and the city is contagious, and his friendly personality made us feel like we were exploring Amsterdam with a local friend. Highly recommended for anyone who loves good food and wants to experience the authentic side of the city!

It was incredible gastronomic tour across Amsterdam. We tried all Netlands delicacies, such as softest pickled herring, smoked eel, codfish, famous Amsterdam fries with 33 sauces on your taste, fantastic apple and lemon tarts, famous Netlands cheese, local beer and even local moonshine😊 Our guide Katya was amazing - so energetic and knowledgeable but at the same time sensitive to customers’ wishes making the tour comfortable and interesting!

We booked this tour on the first day of our short trip to Amsterdam, it was a great decision, because we have discovered so many good places to visit for the following days. Absolutely wonderful tour. Our guide Sasha was so knowledgeable, friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome in Amsterdam. All of the food was incredible, and allowed us a tast of the city in a few hours!

The food tour was mediocre. The guide talked mostly to one member of our group we didn't have 10 tastings,there were things listed in the description that we didn't do, and one of the places we went was a cheese shop with free samples. So it didn't feel like the customized experience that the everything else was.
We are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. Regarding the tastings, our guide did offer the 10 tastings as described. Two members of your group tried everything and found the experience very interesting and delicious. They expressed their satisfaction after the tour and even left generous tips. Unfortunately, your agent did not inform us of any dietary restrictions, which prevented some of you from trying more than half of the planned tastings. Once our guide realized most of the Dutch dishes were not suitable, she changed some locations and also recommended several places and restaurants, including those with Asian cuisine, more suited to your preferences, where you could explore various cuisines further after the tour. This is why we emphasize in the tour description the importance of informing us about any dietary restrictions in advance, and we ask for these details during the booking process. We deeply regret that this information was not provided, preventing our guide from tailoring the tour specifically for you. We appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve our tours.

We went on a private tour with our family, chose the gastronomy section, and in the end, besides discovering fantastic local places, we learned so much interesting information.
