Pickup was chaotic; someone arrived at the agreed meeting point much too late. Then only information in Spanish; only after a complaint was something explained in English as well. The time on Taquile is spent with a short folklore show and lunch. You don't have time to see anything on the island or walk around a bit. The Uros islands are of course very worth seeing, but here too you are only blessed with a forced tourist program. You are herded through in a group of more than 20 people... The last part (Sillustani) was the most pleasant. I was all alone there then. All in all, the guide (Samuel) made little effort and the whole thing is completely overpriced, There are cheaper tours that offer excursions to the Uros and in the end everyone does the same program. Not recommended!

Wir verstehen, dass die Wartezeit unangenehm war, sind jedoch der Ansicht, dass die Bezeichnung der Abholung als "chaotisch" den tatsächlichen Ablauf nicht widerspiegelt. Zu Taquile: Das Programm umfasst eine etwa 45-minütige Wanderung bis zum Hauptplatz, und während der Mittagszeit wird den Passagieren eine freie Zeit von etwa 30 Minuten eingeräumt, um die Insel auf eigene Faust zu erkunden. Falls Sie mehr Zeit auf der Insel verbringen möchten, bieten wir auch Touren mit einer Übernachtung oder über zwei Tage an, die sowohl auf unserer Website als auch über diese Plattform buchbar sind. We recently visited Puno and spent the day visiting Uros and Taquile islands followed by a visit to Sillustani. This is a beautiful part of Peru and these Islands are so lovelyl and interesting. However, what made our day without a doubt was our guide Samuel. From the moment he picked us up at our hotel, we knew we were very lucky to have him as our guide. He gently guided us around the islands ensuring that we got the best views and saw everything. It was obvious that he had a great rapport with the island inhabitants who all seemed to know him personally. After our islands trip he drove us to Sillustani in time for sunset which was a beautiful experience. Throughout our day with Samuel, we felt completely at ease and we learned so much from him about the history and culture of the area. Thank you Samuel and thank you Inca Lake tours. In my opinion this is the company to go with in Puno and Samuel is the guide to ask for.
Had a great time on this tour as a solo female traveler in my 50’s. It was slowed paced so I had enough time to listen to guide & explore or shop on my own before going to next stop. Samual was my English guide & spoke excellent English & Spanish, plus he is well educated on the history of his country :-)
What an exceptional tour! Don’t miss Titicaca adventures tour w/Samuel Yanarico Luli (an exceptional guide). Samuel remained generous and joyful even after the thousandth photo or question He shared a great deal of information about the island’s history and brought Sillustani to life with legends well as archeological facts. Sillustani is beyond magical and it was made more so by a thunder and lightening storm which added to its mystical quality. The islands themselves are truly unique and quite beautiful. The hike on Taquile while challenging is nothing short of stunning. Not only was lunch delicious but the view was stunning. Overall it was a tour we will NEVER forget

Good guide and good tour in general. However i feel that the price is WAY too high for what they actually offer.
Enjoyable interesting day, ably led by our guide Samuel. He was very informative in his talks. It was very interesting to discover how the floating islands were made and the significance of the hats worn by the men on the island. A lovely lunch of trout was served in a family run restaurant. We were collected and dropped off at our hotel.
We traveled with our family of 8 people. We did the speed boat with a private guide. Our guide, Samuel, was excellent. He did a great job explaining all the historical things and answering all our questions. Lunch was included in this tour, and he accommodated a great vegetarian lunch, with a stunning view of the lake.
The guides are professional. The sites are amazing. The local people are friendly. The weather is unpredictable though.
A magnificent experience at Lake Titicaca we went to see the local population manage it with a mastery by our guide samuel.Samuel one person was professional and especially attentive.
