チヴィタヴェッキア発：瀕死の街とモンスター パーク ツアー

Great day. Michele, our driver, was very friendly. Punctual. Gives a lot of information about the tours and the area. The time for visits are perfect.

Our Driver Paolo was great. He explained to us about the region while driving and paid for our coffee while on a bathroom break in Traiano. The Dying City and Monster Park were amazing to see. Paolo also suggested a place for gelato and it did not disappoint. It was as fantastic!!

Great day! First stop Tuscania (not on the itinerary), followed by the wine tasting. Absolutely superb, 4 decent glasses served with different nibbles in great company. Next was the dying city - beautiful place and the walk isn't as scary as it looks 😃. Last stop was the Monster Park, a quirky 16th century sort of theme park. A great day all round.

Very unique experience, we enjoyed it! Andrea also took us to a small town with a truly authentic Italian restaurant for an excellent lunch.

Murkier was an amazing guide. Not only did he describe the attributes of each place but he also told us about the trees and plants of the region. After visiting the Dying City ( just charming) he gave us a choice of the Monster forest ( carved rocks) or Villa Lante. He arranged lunch for us in a little town by Villa Lante , went ahead to buy the Villa tix. The fountains at the Villa were a beautiful concept flowing 5-6 levels from the top down to the bottom fountain. They were from 1500s!!

This excursion was quite an experience. We had been to Rome a few times and hence didn’t want to do that again. Found this one and gave it a try. We ended up having a private tour for our family of 5. Our driver Andreas was nice and gentle. He didn’t explain too much to us but was politely answering whatever questions we had. He drove very fast though and was on the phone from time to time (a bit distracted). We arrived at the dying city and was just amazed by the view and the quaint surroundings. It was a very hot day, lots of slope to go up but that view was just totally worth it. Our driver was on time and then took us to Monster Park. A different type of sightseeing. Our kids had fun looking around. And it wasn’t as crowded. Overall the experience was out of our expectations. Definitely a hidden gem. I would recommend this if anyone coming to Civitavecchia and not wanting to do Rome.

Great tour! small group so highly recommended if you want a personalized, in-depth experience of the sites and area. Driver was very attentive and acommodating :)

The views at the Dying City were stunning on the walk to the quaint village. Narrow streets lined with plants and flowers. A picturesque peaceful place to visit. The highlight of our trip. We were also surprised by Monster Park. We didn't research it beforehand but were pleasantly surprised. There were not that many people the day we went. A quiet stroll thru the park finding ancient statues throughout. If you're only in the area for the day, skip Rome and take this tour instead!
