スイス村への日帰り旅行： インターラーケン・グリンデルヴァルト&ラウターブルンネン

Beautiful trip. It is a long day, so be rested and ready to walk if you want to see the best views. Our guides Lisa and Fernando were great, and driver Jimmy was fabulous. We sat in the back of the bus in the upper area and if you’re susceptible to motion sickness, be prepared for that. We had a great time.

I would like to sincerely appreciate your team for the excellent execution of tour. From transportation to sightseeing and overall coordination, everything was well organized and professionally managed.

It was a nice day of visiting other small towns around Switzerland. The pick up location in Lucerne is a little tricky finding so leave early enough to guarantee you find the correct location.

Don’t pass up the gondola ride to the top of the First. Totally worth the price. Guides were helpful and cognizant of our physical needs and limitations.

We understood from the booking this was basically a bus ride to 3 locations in the Alps with limited guide. We were unable medically to so the cable cars, but spent a lovely afternoon in Grindlewald on the terrace of Beebe’s Restaurant watching the rain clear and build back up, so thanks for the great recommendation! The driver was super and Jorge and Victor were informative. Thank you.

The villages were nice, although there wasn’t much to see in Interlaken aside from the paragliders. However the times advertised in each village when I booked was not the same as what happened. The first and last stops were only 1 hour. I specifically booked this out of Lucerne because it offered more time. I requested a partial refund and was denied.

We travelled to 3 villages in a beautiful mountainous part of Switzerland. We had time in each to walk around and get a feel for each town.

Don’t get me wrong, I am glad we did this tour. But I like to tell it like it is, since those reviews are most helpful. I wasn’t expecting to get motion sickness during the bus ride to Lauterbrunnen, which was the first village we went to. It was also a surprise to learn about the Grindelwald First gondola ride activity, and the additional cost. Waiting our turn in line to purchase the tickets for that, while in Lauterbrunnen, wasted precious time needed to explore. It would have been better to have been offered to purchase that option up front. We ended up not having enough time to make the hike behind the waterfall.:(. When we got to Grindelwald, I was still sick from the bus ride, so didn’t feel well on the gondola up to Grindelwald First. We ate lunch at the top, which almost seemed like a lunch selection from IKEA. I took a Dramamine, which probably saved me during the second half of the trip. I was very disappointed with the gondola ride. For what we paid, my daughter and I should have been able to ride a gondola without having to share. It seems like other gondolas had only couples in them, but oddly, strangers jumped into our gondola at the last minute. I was hoping to have an unobstructed view down. The stop in Interlaken felt like an afterthought. The town was crowded, so with only 45 minutes allotted, I was so concerned about making it back to the bus at the required time. The bus parked out of the way and just the time needed to walk through Interlaken and walk back dampened any excitement in exploring the place/shops. With all that said, I still enjoyed the experience overall, and I would still recommend it, now knowing what to expect.

Had a medical emergency and wouldn't work with me at all so I could still participate. I even sent them a message the day before when I happened

The bus tour was excellent. The only challenge was getting back to the meeting site. I got lost in my way back to the bus at the first location and had to call my friend to figure out where the bus was parked.
