No Shows

We waited by the London eye for over 40 minutes. Bus never showed. The sales attendant for city kept telling us it would be there soon. Didn’t help it was 95 degrees outside. We just gave up and walked around ourselves. Horrible service. Of course we noticed the buses around other areas but you can only get on at designated spots.

Beware

6/25/26: 11:17 AM. Be advised the bus driver we had doesn’t speak. English is absolutely reckless behind the wheel and injured my wife due to his incompetence and stupidity to ignore the stop. Does not pay attention to the stop button horrible experience.

It was very convenient...

It was very convenient because we only had 1 day in London and it was a great way to see many of the important sites. Also, I recommend using the earbuds or bringing your own plug-in headphones. The commentary was great information with some humor but not too much information that it was overwhelming. My only complaint was that the buses were not as consistent as I would have liked. We had to wait over 20 minutes at one of the drop off points. Otherwise, worth the money and a good way to see many sites.

Pass on this one.

I've been on a number of hop-on, hop-off buses, but this was hands-down the worst. Our hotel was on the green line where we planned on starting the experience. Unfortunately, due to reasons not stated, they were operating that line on a reduced schedule. The weather was also less than ideal (rainy and cold-not the provider's fault, obviously) but because the upper deck was half covered, if you didn't have a covered seat, you had to go below. The views on the bottom are less than ideal. At one point, when the bus driver hit the brakes, a wave of water came forward and soaked my shoe. The rotation of buses and drivers made for a choppy experience. The route takes you over the Themes River a million times. We used the app and downloaded the audio to use our AirPods. It worked about half of the time. It would then catch up and you'd be hearing about something three stops ago. It was the third bus we got on before someone finally checked my ticket from the app and gave us our paper ticket. I'd recommend a different company than City Sightseeing if you want to have a good experience. I've used Big Bus in London before and had a much better experience.

Uproffesional and false advertisement

Their website clear as day says they have a stop for pick up at kings cross and st pancras station ,this is why we booked this bus over others. Upon arrival and looking for a stop another tour company stopped us and asked us if we were alright ,we told them we were looking for the city sight seeing tour and he informed us that it no longer runs from this location that hes had to redirect many other people and that they've applied for refunds. Ofcourse we were a little suspicious he was just trying to get us to book with him but he showed us a very small sign on a bus post which showed that the tour we booked no longer services this stop. We then spent over an hour is sweltering heat finding another bus stop that they do service, asked a worker at a city sight seeing stall from this company who had no idea what we were talking about and couldnt help us. By now we had lost a good chunk of time so rang 2 different numbers on there site,both didnt answer just lead to a voicemail which said the number was no longer operational. With a difficult to use online map,no online or via call assistance and a misadvertised bus stop we wasted much of the morning. We eventuall decided to make our own way to our intended location. We emailed them to try to resolve this and that we were seeking a refund since they advertised a stop which they didnt service and we would've booked another company had we known. They did not deliver the service as they advertised. The customer service replies via email were unprofessional and rude and resolved nothing with us having to repeatidly seek out responses after days of no reply. The site advertised a stop which they did not service and had no banners or notices to alert customers of this change on their website. When asked the customer service could not provide any information on the website telling customers the stop schedule had changed but on the website clear as day says they service st Pancras and King's Cross which was true until recently. Horrendous customer service ,no resolution and a lack of any duty of care from the company.

Horrible experience

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I was emailing a women named nicola who was very rude! We wasted almost 2-3 hours of our 1 day in London because of this company, we waited at 3 different stops o. The green route, we booked ot because it said it stopped at kings cross and it never showed up! Can't get a manger on the phone I tried to ring numerous times, we ended up just getting the underground and now im down. 150 euro and the company are being very very unhelpful, nowhere on the website does it say ot no longer runs from kings cross! ABSOLUTE SCAM OF A COMPANY

So convenient!

We loved this bus tour! So many stops and you have a couple of choices for routes. It’s SO convenient and easy to hop back on. There was only one spot where we had to find a different way back - the Tower of London. This became our main mode of transportation because we started the tour at just the right time and got to use the pass longer than expected. It’s great to see the city above ground. I suggest a multiple day pass.

Horrible

Never able to find the pick up spot. Contacted operator with no response. Never redeemed our tickets. Were told we could not get a refund.
