August 15th 2024- Nati was very nice, soft spoken and knowledgable. She guided us through the museum and gave us good points to tour the gardens and see the most after her tour. Very convenient to go from Paris in a bus.

I needed to bring the visit forward by a day and the assistance received from Barbara from the reservations service was truly excellent!

We were soooo looking forward to seeing Versailles and it was everything we expected but more. Our guide was brilliant! (I'm sorry to say I've forgotten her name) Fluent in English, Spanish & French. We had audio transistors where we could hear everything our guide said as she was connected to a headset. It can be quite busy and noisy in the buildings, so to hear commentary as we're looking around is very helpful. Although a bit quick as it was a half day tour, it gave us time to get a taste of Versailles. If you want to really experience the gardens I would recommend a full day experience. On the whole very happy with how this tour was run.

private tour due to limited mobility was of no added value. No wheelchairs. No reservation access to carts. Travel agent was advised carts and wheelchairs available. Tour guide said same. Tour guide said do building first then cart. No wheelchair then no cart. Cart stand was a long walk to find out nothing there. Back over cobblestone difficult without wheelchair.

Half day guided Versailles tour from Paris in a small group (priory access) Hotel pick up was scheduled for 9:15 never showed up! We had the concierge call and was informed they were not doing hotel pick up due to Covid 19! They said we should have been informed of the changes. We were told to take a taxi from Paris by this time it was 10:30. When my wife made the reservation she received a email stating they were having trouble generating a bar code and the tour operator would contact us. Never did! What a let down! Wasted day never got to see Versailles! So $357.92 later Viator refused to refund the money. We should have been contacted by either Viator or the tour operator!

So nice to be picked up at our hotel with a driver giving background information about the estate. The driver also gave us time to explore the gardens on our own. Then continued the story started on the drive when we entered the building. Again, answered any questions on the way back to the hotel.

I’ve been on a number of guided tours since 2008 when I retired from the military, and we’ve shuffled through the palace before. This tour with our guide Damien was by far the best and most informative small group tour I’ve been on in years. It’s all about the guide and his/her in depth knowledge not only of the site but the history of the area and the lifestyle - culture and traditions - of the inhabitants. Damien made the difference, a guide who will make your expensive tour worth every penny.
