Andrej was an excellent guide and communicator with a wealth of stories and knowledge of Prague history. Really enjoyed the 4 hour walking tour.

“Ross” was a wonderful guide. Very affable and knowledgeable. Knows his Prague history. Was receptive to any and all types of questions. Tour did not seem rushed at any point. We were on the 4 hour version of the tour. Others in the group participated in the 2.5 hour and 6 hour versions. Would strongly recommend the 4 hour version.

We did the four hour tour, which gave us an overview of the highlights of Prague. Ross, our guide was a very informative with 16 years experience. His knowledge of the city and its history was very impressive. We enjoyed this tour very much and would highly recommend!

I booked a Free Tour with Civitatis for August 17th of this year, which I had a great experience with two years ago in Krakow, but it did not satisfy me…we were a small group of Italian families with teenagers and children from 5 to 16 years old…the guide gathered us in a square and we started the 3-hour walk (as scheduled) in intermittent light rain. The guide went on at length about historical aspects and this caused the attention of the children present to drop, whom he did not try to involve in any way….Perhaps he was not the right person for that target group (in the booking you indicate the age of the participants!!!!!) his phrasing was essential and monotonous, the information seemed like that from the internet…I had the impression that he was in a hurry to finish!!!! I don't remember his name so I interrupted the tour halfway through after offering him €50 (we were a family of 5 people) because my 10-year-old nephew was getting bored!!!! (Payment involves a tip but I have a sense of responsibility regarding the commitment made). I wrote a review on their site complaining about the same problems but they didn't publish it!!! It's a serious association present in many cities that uses trained people but that day I was very disappointed even more so because my nephew was with me, to whom I wanted to give a captivating image of the city and its monuments!!!! Take water and a hat, great tour fantastic guide, will arm visitors well for exploring Prague on your own

A very enjoyable and informative tour. Our guide, Anna spoke knowledgably with enthusiasm and elements of humour but particularly with emmotion when she came to the Nazi Occupation, Resistance movements and Jewish settlements etc. around WW2.. If you only have a short time visiting Prague then this tour covers the must see Charles Bridge, the Lennon Wall, Prague Castle (and surrounding), the Jewish Quarter and Old Town Square plus explaining the architectural differences in the building styles.. Anna also had laminated cards along the tour, such as detailing the historic development of the distinct sections of Prague.. the Lesser Town, Old Town, New Town, Jewish Quarter.. eady to understand and all fascinating stuff, Thank you Anna!

A great tour with a knowledgeable and friendly guide (Ross). All the important sites were included. Wear comfortable shoes!

It was an amazing 4 hour walking tour, guide was super knowledgeable and it helps you basically oriented and know all of the main Prague buildings very quickly. Super helpful and friendly and informative :)

This is an excellent way to get acquainted with Prague, and learn some of the history of this beautiful country. Our guide, Katerina was excellent, telling the story of Prague, with some personal insights. Our only regret was that we hadn’t booked the longer tour (which includes lunch and a boat trip). Highly recommended.

Fabulous tour! I learned about Prague, its history, the castle, the neighborhoods, the legends! The guide was brilliant!
