My father and I took a Czech Out tour to Cesky Krumlov in May 2026. I had contacted Ondrej before booking the tour to see if it would be right for my father, as he has mobility issues. Ondrej made sure to take my concerns into consideration and suggested this tour based on my available dates. He mentioned that it would be at a slower pace and therefore, suitable for my father. This small group tour was just perfect for us and it was very informative. We visited the town of Cesky Krumlov and Holasovice Village, a UNESCO site, both beautiful places! The drive was two hours long but the time passed, with conversation and camaraderie with everyone on the tour. We had a rest stop along the way so that we could stretch our legs. Our tour included lunch at a local restaurant and the food was delicious. I would definitely have booked another Czech Out tour if I had more time in Prague. However, I will be sure to recommend Czech Out tours to anyone I know who is visiting Prague in the future. I love the play on words for the name of the company, "Czech Out." Thank you, Ondrej, for making our visit memorable. You're like a perfect host, with your hospitality second to none.

The tour with Czech Out tours was great! Our guide Ondrej was so interesting and very knowledgeable and even more importantly was very accommodating and aware of our needs at all times! It was very enjoyable to experience Kutna Hora where my family was originally from 120 years ago! ONDREJ went above and beyond! Highly recommend this tour!!!
This was a great addition to our trip. Ondrej was a personable and entertaining host and we enjoyed the conversations and information shared during the drive. The thoughtfully curated itinerary showcased Czech experiences we would never have stumbled upon on our own. Would highly recommend!
Andre was a fantastic guide. Very knowledgeable, personable and prepared for everything. He had great suggestions and made our trip just that much better. The stop at the farm was an amazing addition, giving a look into the authentic life in Czech. The castle and the town are beautiful and full of heritage and charm. Andre’s knowledge of the castle and stories made it worth the trip
Jana of Czech Out Tours was simply an outstanding guide for our day trip to Cesky Krumlov and Holasovice. She picked us up at our hotel at 8 AM, and while making the two plus hour drive to Cesky Krumlov, provided an extensive historical commentary on the village and its relationship with the capital, Prague, as well as the monarchy. Upon arrival at the Cesky Krumlov castle grounds, Jana provided detailed information about them, the buildings and their occupants. This commentary continued throughout our walking tour of the village until we reached our included lunch restaurant, where we enjoyed gourmet sandwiches and specially made lemonade. We then had about an hour of free time to shop and try a local beer before meeting Jana on the outskirts of the village and heading to Holasovice and its UNESCO farm implements museum, which was an interesting visit to end the day prior to the trip back to Prague, where we arrived about 6:45 PM. We definitely recommend Jana and Czech Out Tours to anyone considering a visit to Cesky Krumlov!
Cesky Krumlov was a very interesting and beautiful place, but what made it special was the tour guide, who was outstanding. The company we used was small and fairly new, but marvellous and I can’t recommend them highly enough. We had pre-booked before going to Prague and hoped that it would be good, but everything from the pick up and drop off to Jana's driving standard and her command of English and historic knowledge was excellent. We hadn't chosen the optional lunch in Cesky Krumlov, as my travelling companion is vegetarian and we weren't sure of the menu choices. However, when we mentioned this to Jana, she recommended a vegetarian restaurant to us overlooking the river and serving very good food (just be aware they don't take credit cards). She even took us right there before going on with the only other couple in the party to their chosen restaurant. On our way to Holasovice, Jana was telling us about the history of the area and I mentioned that my late mother-in-law came from a village nearby, Jaronin, many years ago. When we passed a sign for Jaronin being just 2 kilometres away, Jana checked with our fellow tourists whether they minded a slight detour, and we set off to find Jaronin. It was only a tiny hamlet, but very special to me, and I can't thank Jana enough for her thoughtfulness in undertaking the 10 minute detour. Jana went over and above in every way and the company deserves to be overwhelmed with bookings!

Czech Out Tours is so awesome!!We did 3 days of tours with them on our visit to Prague and they were all REALLY great! We went to Cesky Krumlov with Jana. She is an historian and very knowledgeable. The town was amazing. Very picturesque. Jana’s tour was interesting and informative. We also had the chance to visit a UNESCO site, Holasovic. This is a small country village which maintains its traditional way of life with. We visited the home of a local farmer whom lives the traditional village life where the community has self subsisted for generations.
