Our family had the most amazing time with Jonny (Giovanni) on our day trip to Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast!! Although it is summer and very hot here, he made sure we were comfortable in the van and plenty cool. His knowledge and story telling of history was one of the best guides we’ve ever traveled with! He kept us entertained the whole day! He booked us lunch reservations at the most beautiful place in Positano with great food and coordinated later times for things due to summer traffic and it being busy everywhere. Mary, the guide we had in Pompeii was also superb in knowledge and keeping us in shade as much as possible. This was such a fantastic day, Rome Private Excursions does everything top tier! We are so glad we booked the day with them!

We had a great day tour from Rome to Positano with a stop in Sorrento. Everything was timed perfectly to avoid traffic and maximize our time there. We left at 7:00 am and got back to Rome at exactly 6:00 pm as planned. Our driver was very nice. We had enough time to see everything and even have a scenic lunch. If you have an extra day in Rome, I highly suggest this day trip to the Amalfi Coast. You won’t regret it. Communication before the trip was excellent. Highly recommend

What an amazing experience. So professional booked in uk. Punctual collected from the hotel at 7am where we were greeted by Angelo. It was a 3 hour journey but all the way along he pointed out historical points and places like Vesuvius etc. because I have mobility issues I emailed them quite a lot with different concerns but I didn’t have to worry. The itinerary was tailored around me and we were taken to Sorrento for over an hour to browse at leisure. We were then taken to lunch at a restaurant they recommended with breathtaking views like a picture postcard above Positano. Then after an amazing lunch we were taken further along the Amalfi stopping for pictures. All the concerns before going were wiped away. It’s always worrying when you are visiting a foreign country and organising a trip but I would certainly recommend this company 100%. I will try and load some pictures.
