We had a really great time overall. The boat tour was fantastic and the Sunflower Arts & Crafts was a great shop. The boat operator was amazing! We couldn't believe the amount of heavily camouflaged wildlife he spotted. It was very impressive. We saw so many different animals! From water monitors and crocodiles to iguanas and birds and monkeys! He also brought ripe bananas for us to hand to the monkeys. That was such a cool experience! We didn't make any other stops, but Aida Gems & Jewelry was suggested. Look at the negative reviews for Aida and you'll see why we didn't want to go there too.

This boat safari was a real experience. Start at Aida Hotel, Bentota. Our guide knew a place where wild monkeys could be attracted - with bananas and nuts. We were lucky - they came. A wonderful experience - being so close to these free-living monkeys.

Have not long arrived home from the most amazing holiday in Sri Lanka! This was mainly due to the trips that Dimuthu had planned for us. The trips we went on were fantastic. The boat trip was great and all the others things we done that day were as equally as good. We seen so much wildlife out on the boat and stopped to see how locals get and use cinnamon. Everyone we met during the day were so friendly! Cannot thank Dimuthu enough for all his organising and making all our day trips great. Nothing was too much trouble for Dimuthu. We'll definitely return to Sri Lanka :-)

Excellent cruise in trying rainy conditions. Driver guide was great sighting wildlife and plants. We saw adult crocodiles, baby crocodiles, iguana, chameleon, water monitor, land monitor, jumping frogs, multiple different bird varieties, large monkeys and squirrels. A highlight was travelling through a mangrove forest. We thoroughly enjoyed the safari and we would strongly recommend it to others. The driver was knowledgeable and enthusiastic assisting with hard to reach photo opportunities.

Through holidaymakers from our hotel we got the number from Lucky (+94 76 602 9536), with whom we took an unforgettable boat tour on the Bentota River. We have seen such great animals, the nature is fantastic there. Lucky is very accommodating and tries to make everything possible. The German tour operators can take an example from this. He also offers other tours-just write to him via WhatsApp. Thank you, Lucky, for the unforgettable experiences!

An absolutely wonderful 2 hours. Travelled deep into the river alongside dense forest/jungle. Crocs, river monitors, monkeys, snakes, frogs. A great guide who covered every inch of possible wildlife.

We went to the river safari with Dim from Dim Tours Sti Lanka. It was an amazing experience, Dim is very kind and also our boat driver was fantastic; a great spotter of wildlife! I reccomend this tour warmly :)

Great safari! Beautiful views of mangroves and native lianas. Guides virtuoso look out for various animals in the bushes, it is very difficult for the inexperienced eye to find masters of camouflage such as varan and crocodile, as well as allowed to feed curious monkeys) for a small donation you will have the opportunity to take a picture with a baby crocodile
