Excellent tour! Everyone enjoyed it!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Evie and the incredible, fun, informative experience we had at the Met. We took our child (then ~10 years old) to the Met on our last trip to NYC, and we learned from that experience that taking our child through a museum unguided was asking for lots of complaining and misery. The experience was radically different this time with Evie. She was so engaging in the way she connected the art to stories that kids know (mostly Harry Potter, but other fantasy series as well and peppering in interactive activities throughout the tour. All of us (adults and kids) learned a great deal about fantasy and myth as well as general recommendations for books, movies, TV, and NYC places to visit. We would absolutely book another tour with Fable & Lark again! Highly, highly recommend.

I’m so glad we booked this tour, as it was a wonderful way of exploring different parts of the Met with our boys (10 and 12). It was very evident that the tour guide put a lot of care into designing the tour, keeping kids and adults engaged and marveling about the parallels between Harry Potter and the wonderful art and architecture around us. The activities throughout kept our boys’ imagination engaged. We would love to do other tours in the future. The Met is so vast, and Evan is an expert navigator having worked there for many years.

I had a really wonderful time. I loved learning about how the art and artifacts in the Metropolitan Museum of Art could be linked to famous fantasy novels like Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones. The activities were a blast too. The tour guide’s enthusiasm was contagious.

Evan was a fantastic good tour guide at the MET museum. We went to the Magical Tour with my son, Indeed Magical. Evan was able to keep my son interested while bring very informative. Would definitely recommend!

Evan was so knowledgeable about the museum and also able to adapt and change the tour as needed to meet our son’s interests. She really let him guide the show, and then made what we looked at all the more interesting and magical! Highly recommend!

This tour was FANTASTIC! Evan's extensive knowledge of myth and the museum is surpassed only by her warm and inviting attitude towards all things magical. I was so impressed by Evan's ability to connect the fantasies I love with the histories available in the museum - it was such a rare and fun experience to see my favorite 'fake' worlds come to life in this very real one. Would highly suggest - appropriate for all ages, and fun with friends!!

Evan was our tour guide and she was AMAZING! Her attention to detail and knowledge in mythology and all things magical made experience so special. Evan is witty, very smart and easily related to my moody teenager. I loved the interactive activities for kids and adults. I highly recommend a visit to The Met with Evan!

I can not say enough about this virtual tour. Due to Covid, we are not quite ready to venture into the city. Evan was amazing with my 9 year old who was engaged the entire session. She learned so much and enjoyed the interactive activities. I have recommended this activity to other parents in town. Upon completion each child gets a formal invitation to the MET wizardry school. Can not wait to sign up for future events.

My Girl Scout troop had the most amazing time participating in the virtual tour. Even those girls who do not love Harry Potter were participating. I’m especially grateful for the list of resources we received after the tour.
