Though a bit crowded during peak season, the tour guide was like a local friend showing us some awesome spots in Ravello. We learned so much about the composers and writers who fell in love with this town, which added such a lovely romantic depth to the views. The tour ended with a stop for a tasting of local limoncello at a quiet café overlooking the valley.
Filo was a great teacher, knowledgeable and passionate about her subject. She also has a bright and sunny personality.
This tour showed us how legendary the natural beauty of this region is. Our guide was charming and met our aspirations. The terraced gardens of Villa Rufolo is wonderful, with views of the sparkling coastline below. Each spot covered had an endless horizon.
