Booked through Tripadvisor but was given the wrong address. Called the support number and got an AI agent that messaged another address that was also wrong. Found the number to call the company direct and they emailed me the correct address. There was absolutely nothing special or romantic about this, its exactly the same Gondola ride that you can simply turn up for and pay half the price charged by Tripadvisor without having to walk around half of Venice following bad information.

I had an incredible gondola experience in Venice from start to finish. The VR experience at the beginning was a brilliant touch, giving us a unique, immersive look at the city’s history and the canals before we even stepped outside. It really set the scene and built up the excitement for what was to come. After that, our guide Rachele took us on a lovely walk-and-talk tour towards the gondola. She was amazing from the very beginning — warm, friendly, and full of fascinating stories about Venice and everyday life along the canals. The walk itself felt relaxed and personal, not rushed at all, and she pointed out details we would have completely missed on our own. By the time we reached the gondola, we already felt connected to the city, and the ride was the perfect finale. Gliding through the water after such an engaging introduction and tour made the whole experience feel thoughtful and well put together. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and Rachele’s guidance at the beginning, along with the VR, made it truly memorable.
