A change from cave breakfast followed by Teotihuacán to a commercial stop, archaeological visit, and later cave lunch is significant—especially when guests have planned their morning expecting breakfast. You should have been clearly informed beforehand, and we understand why the unexpected wait left you hungry and frustrated. We are also concerned about the long sales stop you described. This is not the type of experience we want associated with Paseos Olmedo, and we will review what happened with the operation assigned that day. Your comments regarding the guiding are equally important. Teotihuacán deserves much more than a general explanation. Our guides should clearly distinguish archaeological evidence from interpretation while providing meaningful context about the city’s chronology, construction, culture, and what researchers actually know—and still do not know—about this extraordinary civilization. We’re glad that despite these issues you were still able to enjoy Teotihuacán, but we recognize that this was not the experience you purchased or reasonably expected.
