Communicating with Mrs. Mishelle for booking was extremely easy, and we got to pick our tour departure time-different from other tour experiences and much appreciated in traveling with an opinionated 10 year old. Mr. TJ picked us up on time and we were excited to learn that we had the tour completely to ourselves and TJ would be with us the whole day. He was very knowledgeable about all of the different scenic points we drove through as well as island culture and history. It was our first time to Roatan, and this was super comprehensive. TJ let us know he would stop anywhere we needed, including the Roatan sign and grocery sites if needed. We started with the monkey/sloth tour which was great, and again we were the only ones at the venue. We then went exploring and seeing many parts of the island a typical tour wouldn’t include. Next was the chocolate factory and recycled artisan craft shop-both a must do. We then stopped at the rum factory before being taken to west bay beach for a snorkel. Everyone was patient with us, my 10yo was hesitant to snorkel, and ended up feeling very comfortable. Very glad we booked through MJ tours-the ease and professionalism was awesome and our own private tour was perfect.

This was an amazing find. We have a toddler and can't be constrained by a tradition tour or excursion. MJ tours was very understanding/accommodating and let us just drive around exploring Roatan. While we didn't get to do everything we wanted to do (not our tour guide's fault; it was the toddler melting down, lol), we were able to explore a lot and really enjoyed the experience. If I'm ever back in Roatan, I'll book with them again. Highly recommended.

TJ with MJ Tours and Attractions was awesome!! We loved the tour of the island, the animals, the rum and chocolate factory, and the beach was BEAUTIFUL!! 🏝🍹🍫🐒🦥🦜🌊 TJ was super friendly and helpful and we loved that he was with us the whole time. It was definitely an elevated experience compared to other excursions that we've been on. Can't wait to go back! 😁

We booked this tour a few months before arriving on the Carnival Celebration on June 18, and the entire experience was outstanding. Their online payment system was easy to use, and they responded promptly to every email. Upon arrival, they were exactly where their detailed directions indicated. We had a private driver and a comfortable, well-air-conditioned vehicle in Roatán. The highlights were definitely the sloths and monkeys—an unforgettable experience! West Bay Beach was absolutely beautiful, and our guide took us to all the best spots about twenty minutes before the large tour groups arrived. We will definitely use them again!

This is a family run tour operator. Our driver was super friendly and knowledge. She loved her home island and shared that love with all her stories. The animal interactions were amazing! Unfortunately, it rained soon after we left them, so the rest of our day was shortened.
