ロアタン島ツアー： ナマケモノ&モンキーパーク、ラム酒、チョコレート

Every cruise has at least one lasting memory. For me, this visit to Roatan was it. Cynthia was an outstanding guide. She was very personable, friendly, and knowledgeable. We had a great conversation in both English and Spanish. It was a slightly confusing pickup with the overwhelming number of tour companies crowding the port exit at Coxen Hole. Definitely have the name of the actual tour company on hand, not just the platform, and ask if you don't see their sign - people are genuinely trying to help get you to the right place. The sloth and monkey tour was awesome. You'll get to see and take photos with sloths close up. You can enter cages where macaws will land on your head and capuchin monkeys will climb on your back and shoulders. It's definitely a unique and very interactive experience. At West Bay, you'll get to spend 2-3 hours at a private resort beach, with white sand and shallow, calm water. The downside is it's a bit crowded and the beachside service is slow. You'll get chairs but not towels so bring them with you. We forgot to bring our towels, but bought some souvenir towels on the beach for $10 each. The rum tasting is at a rum and rum cake store. The free samples are really good, especially the cake. You'll also find an incredible view from the outdoor patio. The chocolate tasting is at a chocolate store, with great variety, free tasting, and an educational overview. The rum and chocolate tasting are quick, 10-15 minute stops. Cash tips are appreciated at the sloth and monkey tour, and chocolate tasting. I would definitely recommend this tour for anyone visiting Roatan for the day on a cruise. Ask for Cynthia.

The tour was excellent as well as the guide - Johnny. He was experienced and insightful.

On a rainy day on Roatan took this tour to see the monkeys and sloths. Then on to the chocolate factory and rum shop. Driver, Tyler was excellent. He made the day interesting in spite of the rain.

Our Guide Jimmy Alvarado was awesome, we were early and they accommodated and picked us up early without any issues. Van was clean, comfortable and cool. Very knowledgeable about the island. He was friendly, courteous, dependable and kind. Communication was clear. We highly recommend this tour using the 2K's Adventure Tours excursion.

Booked a private tour for our family of 7. Communication was fast and good well before the tour. The pick up at our cruise port went very well, as described. Our tour had 3 stops on schedule, but our driver/guide (Allen) nicely drove us to a spot we wanted to add. Allen was nice and helpful, giving us informations all tour long. Would book again with roatan tucan adventures! Thanks a lot!

Great experience with Garlan, he gave us a great history of the island, gave us a tour of the less touristy areas after hearing our daughter has Hondurans and Garafuna ancestors and got us back on time!

This was an amazing excursion. Our tour operator, Garlon was incredible! He was very knowledgeable and very kind to our party. We had 12 people that ranged in ages 7 to 75 and this tour appealed to everyone. Even though the tour had planned stops, it felt like it was tailored to our family because it felt so personal. I cannot stress how great this tour is. It gives you a true taste of life in Roatan. We have taken many cruises and booked many excursions through Tripadvisor and Viator and all of us agree that this tour and our tour guide was the best! My husband and I booked the sloth, monkey, macaw and iguana excursion outside of our cruise to Roatan. We were very nervous about doing this. We booked with Roatan Tucan Adventures and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT! From the moment we met our tour guide, Diana J., we were immediately put at ease! She ushered us to our private car and we were on our way! She was so sweet and very knowledgable about the island and shared with us about the history of Honduras and her life growing up there. Not only did she escort us to the sloth, monkey and iguana sanctuaries, she stayed with us the entire time! When we were finished with the sanctuaries, she asked us if we would like to be taken to the giant Roatan signs for pictures. We agreed, and off we went! she even agreed to take a selfie with us! After escorting us to all of our desired destinations, she dropped us off right inside of the port in plenty of time for us to get back onboard our ship! We cannot recommend Roatan Tucan Adventures enough! You won't be sorry!

Cynthia was an excellent tour guide. She gave us a thorough overview of the island’s history and way of life. We went to places that were advertised as the tour itinerary and she took us to extra spots that made this tour truly special.
