Our private tour in Roatán was absolutely wonderful and one of the highlights of our cruise. What made the experience so special was that it truly felt like our family’s tour, rather than a standard itinerary that we simply followed. Our guide, Cynthia, was fantastic! She was knowledgeable, friendly, flexible, and made it a point to customize the experience around our family. Throughout the day, she suggested additional places we could visit and added stops that weren’t originally included in our tour. She also made sure we stopped at the Roatán sign so we could get our family pictures. Those thoughtful touches made us feel like she genuinely wanted us to experience and enjoy as much of the island as possible. And speaking of pictures—Cynthia deserves extra credit for being our unofficial family photographer! 😂 She happily took as many pictures as we wanted, with all the different poses we could come up with, and never made us feel rushed. One of our favorite stops was the monkey, sloth, and bird sanctuary. Our guide there, Kelab, was extremely knowledgeable about the animals and made the experience both fun and educational. He shared so much information with us, including the fascinating story of Fiona, a green macaw, and Jack, a red macaw, and their unique offspring. As a huge fan of Friends, I especially loved discovering that two of the birds were named Ross and Rachel and one of the monkeys was named Marcel. That was such a fun and unexpected part of the experience! The rum and chocolate tastings were another nice touch and gave us something different to enjoy during the day. One of the biggest advantages for us was having a private tour for just our family. We weren’t being moved around with a large group or forced to stick to a rigid schedule. Cynthia was able to adjust the day, make recommendations based on what interested us, and give us a much more personal experience. From the sightseeing and spontaneous stops to the animals, tastings, photos, and Cynthia’s wonderful hospitality, we felt like we got to experience Roatán in a way that was tailored specifically to us. Thank you, Cynthia and Kelab, for helping make our first visit to Roatán so memorable. We left with beautiful pictures, great memories, and a real appreciation for the island. We would absolutely recommend this private tour to families and anyone looking for a more personalized way to experience Roatán! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five stars from our family!

Our driver and tour conductor Tyler was excellent. He gave us so much knowledge from the island and was very friendly. My mother in law who has mobility issues and a scooter was accommodated so well. I loved going to the chocolate factory, the rum factory, and souvenir shopping. It was all excellent. Highly recommend using them.

The tour was a great experience overall. Tyler was a wonderful tour guide and made the tour even better with his local knowledge and concern for our wishes. Absolutely loved every minute of it. Was traveling with six adults all over the age of 55. Again, Tyler made the trip outstanding ask for him.

We had an AMAZING time in Roatán. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that this was a private tour!! Denisa was so nice, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. She took us to so many beautiful places, including a local restaurant where we tried authentic food! We tasted chocolate, coffee and rum cake. Everything was delicious!! I would totally recommend this tour!

Johnny Brooks was an incredible guide! He was attentive, knowledgeable and made sure to customize the day to fit our interests. The sloths, monkeys, rum tasting and chocolate factory were all interesting. We really enjoyed all the beautiful look out points Johnny took us to.

We went on a 7 day western cruise and Roatan port was one of the stop, we absolutely loved Roatan of all the ports and at the end became our favorite stop, it was cultured and felt less touristy and that made it special for us while doing our excursions. What made it even more special is our tour Guide Cassie (hope I spelled it correctly) her customer service skill was excellent, she is knowledgeable about the island and the different spots, her warmth personality made it easy for communication flow, she was accommodating and go above and beyond to ensure we had a great time, we did the monkey, sloth and the rum tour, then Cassie took us to get some local food!! CHEF KISS! the food was amazing!! Thank you Cassie for being the amazing person you are! We will certainly be back to Roatan! Best Wishes, T, Cam and Kaj..

Mrs Odessa was an amazing tour guide, she’s very knowledgeable about the country and the sights to see. She made my mother and I feel like we were family instead of tourists. This is a must do when visiting here. The chocolate and amazing and the rum was even better. The monkey and sloth adventures was great too

Every cruise has at least one lasting memory. For me, this visit to Roatan was it. Cynthia was an outstanding guide. She was very personable, friendly, and knowledgeable. We had a great conversation in both English and Spanish. It was a slightly confusing pickup with the overwhelming number of tour companies crowding the port exit at Coxen Hole. Definitely have the name of the actual tour company on hand, not just the platform, and ask if you don't see their sign - people are genuinely trying to help get you to the right place. The sloth and monkey tour was awesome. You'll get to see and take photos with sloths close up. You can enter cages where macaws will land on your head and capuchin monkeys will climb on your back and shoulders. It's definitely a unique and very interactive experience. At West Bay, you'll get to spend 2-3 hours at a private resort beach, with white sand and shallow, calm water. The downside is it's a bit crowded and the beachside service is slow. You'll get chairs but not towels so bring them with you. We forgot to bring our towels, but bought some souvenir towels on the beach for $10 each. The rum tasting is at a rum and rum cake store. The free samples are really good, especially the cake. You'll also find an incredible view from the outdoor patio. The chocolate tasting is at a chocolate store, with great variety, free tasting, and an educational overview. The rum and chocolate tasting are quick, 10-15 minute stops. Cash tips are appreciated at the sloth and monkey tour, and chocolate tasting. I would definitely recommend this tour for anyone visiting Roatan for the day on a cruise. Ask for Cynthia.
