Great historical introduction to Florence. Really got us off on the right foot as we took on our first day. Guide also provided recommendation list for food and things to see which was much appreciated.

Our guide Manuel lead our small group of four through the history of Florence. We learned about the street corner names and shields. There is much history behind the construction of Florence. We learned about the towers, families and balconies. I get tired easy when walking at a quick pace. Manuel helped me by slowing the pace and finding me a seat when I needed to sit. Great job Manuel. Grazie.

Excellent tour! Only four of us, which was amazing since every other tour we’ve done has been so busy. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave an incredible tour with additional photos on his iPad.

We absolutely loved this walking tour and our guide Manuel. The tour takes you to all the major highlights of Florence and we really left feeling like we saw the city in a new light. We learned so much about the families in Florentine history as well as the little hidden gems on buildings and corners we were already walking by (but had no idea they were pieces of history!). The storytelling was great and even though we didn’t go into these places/museums we got so much out of our tour guide. The walking was an easy pace with frequent stopping for photos and admiring buildings or monuments.

Manuel, our tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable and explained the history of Florence in a way that was not only fascinating, but captivating as well. This is a wonderful tour for anyone interested in learning about the history behind some of Florence’s most notable landmarks, and how this amazing city influenced the world as we know it today. 10/10 highly recommend this tour!

Great walking tour seeing the highlights of Firenze and understanding the history of the buildings you otherwise just walk by. Very well done. Easy walking pace. Enjoyable history telling.
