Our tour of the East Coast was amazing on 27th June. Unfortunately we didn't manage to get views of Pica da Adaga because of the low cloud but our tour guide Deano made up for missing this by taking us to extra view points. Deano was very knowledgeable and about the island and a fantastic guide. There was only four of us on the tour and he made sure everyone enjoyed it. The traditional houses at Santanna were lovely and Manuel welcomed us into his home, gave us a coffee liqueur and took a photo of us outside his house, which was fantastic. Would definitely recommend this tour. Thank you, Marion & Ian

Another very enjoyable excursion this time to the East of the island. Excellent guide made the day informative and enjoyable. Would highly recommend both this company and the itinerary. Had some wonderful views both in the mountains and from seacliffs. Very easy going, relaxing pace and plenty of time at stops.

An excellent tour with some outstanding scenery. Our guide Dinatre was brilliant with a great knowledge of all the areas we visited. He helped make the day extremely enjoyable stopping many times for amazing photos opportunities along the way and telling us all the history and information regarding the areas we visited. Manuels house in Casa de Santana is a must see

Our guide Dino was very friendly, knowledgeable and humorous! It was a great tour with lots of variety, interesting stop off points, and views. The tour was a good pace and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Great way to see that there is much more to Madeira and it's people that what is seen in just Funchal and the hotel zone.

It’s very dependent upon the weather- unfortunately when it rains in Madeira the clouds stop you from seeing the full views from the mountain tops. Dino was an excellent, knowledgable and passionate guide and comes highly recommended.

Last week we did a tour of Madeira east side with our driver / guide Dinarte (Dino). He kept our small group (4) entertained with his stories and knowledge of the island while negotiating some challenging driving conditions and hire cars! The tour lasted nearly 8 hours with an hour for lunch. The tour included a visit to the highest peak, a visit to a trout farm which kept the local rivers populated, a private visit to an authentic original house of Santana and a visit to a rum factory using the original steam driven machinery. A great day out made extra special by Dino.

Amazing tour to the best part of the east part of the island with plenty of time to see everything and very adaptable to our needs

I’m visiting from the USA and had the pleasure of taking an East Side Madeira tour with my family—and it truly exceeded all expectations. The breathtaking landscapes and views are unforgettable, but what made this experience exceptional was our guide, Dinarte. As a native of Madeira, his knowledge is incredible. He shares so much rich history and insight along the way, going far beyond what you would expect from a typical tour. Dinarte is patient, polite, and incredibly attentive to every detail. He never rushes, making sure everyone feels comfortable and fully enjoys each stop. His English is fluent, making communication seamless, and the vehicle was spotless and very comfortable. The price is very low for the incredible experience you receive on a 6-7 hr tour. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does and takes pride in showcasing the beauty of Madeira. IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING A TOUR, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. YOU WILL NOT REGRET!!!!! Can't wait to do the West side.
