The temples we visited on day 1 were very interesting and our guide Emad Amery was very interesting. The accommodation at night was not good at all. Hot air balloon at sunrise was fantastic as was the other temples. Make sure you get the name of the hotel or Nile cruise you are staying on before you even leave your hotel as we had to sit for 2 hours waiting to find out where we were staying overnight. Be aware, this is NOT a cruise the boat stays on shore and it’s all for cash and very expensive. I would choose to stay in a hotel but check which one it is as they are also not great.
Emad stayed with us till we were settled and our taxi driver was also fantastic.
