Our guide, Diego, was very knowledgeable about the history and culture of Guadalajara. We learned a lot and it was a good introduction to the city on the first day of our vacation. His English is excellent and he was very comfortable to walk with.

We had the opportunity to take a tour of the neighborhoods of Guadalajara and it was an incredible experience. Diego knows the city in depth and managed to convey its history, culture, and hidden spots to us in a very pleasant, interesting, and entertaining way. What surprised us the most was that he achieved something that is not easy: even our teenage children ended up enjoying the tour a lot! 😄 It is clear that he is passionate about Guadalajara and that he enjoys sharing everything he knows about his city. Without a doubt, we highly recommend this tour for those who want to get to know Guadalajara in a different, personal, and fun way.

What a wonderful tour! My family and I enjoyed exploring Guadalajara with Diego. He’s a fantastic tour guide with a clear love for his hometown. He did a great job sharing its history and culture in a way that was engaging for my husband and I as well as our teenage sons. We upgraded to include sampling street food and highly recommend that as well.

This was the perfect introduction to the complex city that is Guadalajara. Diego spoke perfect English, and was very knowledgeable about the local architecture, history, political influence, and a host of other topics! Often as a Westerner guided tours end up feeling like a set-up where the guide takes you to this vendor and that vendor, completely losing focus on the sites. Diego did none of that, he showed me places and opportunities but there was never a hint of pressure. That casual vibe earned him a great tip! This tour is well worth the price - I could not recommend it more!

Diego was great! He has a great wealth of knowledge in history and of the significant places in Guadalajara.

We only had a couple of days in Guadalajara and wanted to get to know the city. The tour was the perfect amount of introductory information to the city. I liked that it was early during the day to avoid the worst of the heat. Diego went at a casual pace and stopped when we needed and let us know places to use the bathroom along the way, which we ended up needing. I really liked the architectural history of the city and the explanation of the neighborhoods. It was such a pleasant walk, it didn’t feel like four hours. Along the way, Diego took some very nice pictures of us. We ended the tour at the market, where we found the jerseys we had been looking for! Looking back, I wished I would have asked more about the mariachi history, but there was a lot of information given regardless. Even after the tour, Diego was helpful when I had a question on where to try to find some spots to try tequila. I definitely recommend this tour if you’ve never been to Guadalajara.

A very interesting and pleasurable walking tour with Diego who showed us the architecture pearls of the city and other sights and places worth feasting our eyes on while telling us the stories that let us understand more about ages of the city history.
