グアダラハラの建築新古典主義の宝石の一つ。 改革戦争中の1866年にサントス・デゴラード将軍によって創設された。
グアダラハラの歴史的中心部にある最も大きく、最も賑やかな広場は、1940年代にゴンザレス・ガロ知事によって建設され、グアダラハラの建築家イグナシオ・ディアス・モラレスによって設計された。 メキシコの解放者ミゲル・イダルゴを偲ぶ。

アルマス広場は植民地時代の1561年に設立された。 現在、広場の中央には、ポルフィリオ・ディアス大統領の直接の命令により1910年にフランスのパリからもたらされたフランス風の見晴台がある。
2つの神殿の広場は、1540年に設立されたフランシスコ会の古い修道院であった。 不運にも1859年の改革戦争で爆撃を受け破壊された。 修道院内部にあった2つの寺院は保存されている。
9コーナーの近隣は、先住民とメスティーソのコミュニティによって設立された、中心部で最も古いものの1つである。 グアダラハラの伝統であるヤギのシチュー「ビリア」で有名になった。 ツアー最後のカンティーナがあります。

They should add the forest saloon, it is an incredible cantina in the American colony. Everything else was very good
Fernando was super knowledge and engaging on his knowledge about Jalisco and Mexican history. He took us to 3 quaint cantinas and ensured we experienced the specialties. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
What a great afternoon enjoying local drinks and learning more about Mexico's history. Fernando is an easy-going and knowledgeable guide. He shared his passion for local cantinas in Guadalajara. We enjoyed each place and the concersation along the way. We would definitely spend another day on this tour to visit different places
Fernando gave us the canteen tour, it was very interesting the story he told us about them and their history. We really liked that we addressed different issues about people in Guadalajara and their differences with other parts of the country. Next time we have more time we're going to take your other tours.

The tour is very well guided by Fernando. Otherwise I might not have gone to those canteens or known the whole story behind it. It is very worth the truth, I recommend it!!!

Fernando was a great guide. He gave us history lessons, sightseeing advice and had great english conversation skills. He does a really good job getting people to understand the importance of traditional cantinas. He was even willing to walk us to our next destination after the tour. Highly recommend

My wife and I visited Guadalajara in July 2019. We signed up for this tour as we usually try to take tours like this within the cities we visit. Fernando, our guide, was great. For those who don't speak Spanish very well, have no fear! He was able to give us the tour in English. We had a great time on this tour. Fernando gave us a history lesson, of not only the bars we visited, but also the city and of Mexico. This ended up being a highlight of our trip. We would have walked right by these establishments if not for taking this tour. I'm kinda surprised that there aren't more reviews. I'm not sure that Mexico utilizes TA as much as we do in the states. But feel free to email and ask any questions.
