We booked this tour on Sept 23, 2026. There were 2 options: 1.  "Ubud Tour Without Entry Ticket"=400,000 IDR each 2.  "Ubud Tour with Entry Tickets"=700,000 IDR each We picked the "Ubud Tour with Entry Tickets" option, thinking we did not have to carry lots of IDR cash. The expectation was that the entry tickets would total 300,000 IDR each.  However, we were leery of doing this, as no details were stated for entry ticket cost at each site.  I double checked the entry ticket cost, by writing down the entry ticket cost for each site, but neglected to take a photo of each entry's ticket signage.  In hindsight, the  "Ubud Tour with Entry Tickets" option was the wrong choice for us. Stops: 1. Sangeh Monkey Forest=75,000 IDR each, includes 1 bottle of water & monkey food, advertised on the internet, but not on the Tripadvisor site. We did not get any and when we asked about it our driver said it was extra. 2. Tangallalang Terrace Rice Fields=50,000 IDR each 3. Kintamani Coffee Plantation=no entrance fee 4. Tirta Empul Temple=75,000 IDR each 5. Tenenungan Waterfall=30,000 IDR each My total came to 230,000 IDR each, not 300,000 IDR each.  Tripadvisor and the tour operator confirmed that the total entry tickets were correct.  I concluded that we were overcharged an undisclosed service charge of  70,000 IDR each.  When I queried about this discrepancy , the tour operator responded with: "We understand your question regarding the price difference between the tour options. The package price includes not only the face-value ticket costs but also platform commission deductions, ticket pre-booking convenience, and administrative handling to ensure seamless Entry at every attraction."  I don't know if there was any ticket pre-booking done, but entry was seamless.  Our tour experience would have been the same, if we paid for the entry tickets ourselves.  English is spoken at all these tourist sites and they make it easy for you to pay your entry tickets. I'm speculating the tour operator is making up for Tripadvisor's 30% commission on the bundled entry tickets.  For example: 230,000 IDR x 30% = 69,000 IDR.  Tripadvisor's 30% commission would also have applied to the "Without Entry Tickets" option. Tripadvisor could improve the transparency on their site, and compel the tour operator to list 70,000 IDR as an additional service charge on their site.  The customer should be given the choice of paying the additional service charge or not.  I simply want to warn fellow travelers about this discrepancy.  If you are able to pay for the entry tickets yourself, choose the "Without Entry Ticket" option. We had a good tour with our driver Kadek, except for the undisclosed additional service charge.  We don't like hidden charges.  They only benefit Tripadvisor and the tour operator.  My job as a customer is to keep everyone as honest as possible.

Excellent moments filled with discoveries and memories. To do if you do not stop too long at each spot to be able to fully enjoy the monkey forest.

Wonderful experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful experience! Everything was excellent, from the welcoming atmosphere and cleanliness to the great service. The staff was very friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

We went on our adventure with Nyoman yesterday (August 2026) and had an excellent time. Nyoman was a great driver and guide. He even administered first aid to my son and I when I tripped holding him. He wasn’t overbearing, he shared local information and local spots to visit during our stay. He picked us up and returned us safely. Our children are young and he was very kind to them. He took us to a lovely lunch spot. I highly recommend him. The gentleman communicating with us via WhatsApp was great as well.

Kadek Sutar was fantastic! He showed up on time and provided suggestions for extra places to visit based on our preference. He took photos and videos along the way for us. We got to visit a woodwork and art store and he happily took us to Jimbaran Beach in time for a sunset seafood dinner. I could not have asked for more. Thank you Kadek!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful day in Ubud with our driver Kadek. We visited the Monkey Forest, a beautiful waterfall, the Tegalalang rice terraces, the Tirta Empul Temple, and a coffee plantation. Kadek was very kind, punctual, and always available to explain Balinese culture. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bali!
