We signed up for a food tour as we had a spare day before our tour of the 5 Istan countries , but was given a city tour with lunch included. Our guide was good and gave us a good introduction to Almaty and Kazakhstan. Only thing was, much was repeated the next day when we joined our tour proper.

Hello, thank you for your review. This is mixed tour, with tasting kazakh dishes and local wine . As the itinerary stated in the website by Visiting Green Bazzar, Park of 28 panfilovs, Navat and Arba Wine.

Great Tour to Experience Kazahk Cuisine
Our guide, Aelita, was a lovely guide! She was personable and professional and gave us a great understanding of what Kazahk food is all about. She filled walking time with a mini city tour and allowed us to explore when we wanted to. I felt like we got a great variety out of the market food and at a popular restaurant 10/10 would recommend!

Unmissable activity
I didn't know what to expect from this activity, but it turned out to be fantastic. Galtsen, our guide, was very helpful. We toured the park with the soldiers of Panfilov, the church and folkloric instrument. And he had us try a lot of things in the restaurant, but especially in the green bazaar. He gave us a lot of information that made us enjoy more than we tested. We considered it a very complete activity especially when we went to taste the wines. I am Sommelier and I found it a very important plus. Highly recommended and thank you very much to Galtsen for being so kind and generous in the information.

Highly recommended
Alethia was fun and energetic. Just what you would hope for in a food/wine walking tour. We very much enjoyed it. The wine tasting was great. A very nice atmosphere and 6 tastings. Our meal was also delicious in a cool restaurant.
