Our guide, Nick, did a fantastic job explaining the history of the Colosseum. Engineering ingenuity at its finest. It was surreal being inside and imagining what it would have been like watching the hunts & fights in the Colosseum hundreds of days per year, 12 hours per day, over many years. We walked in the palace grounds and over to Palatine Hill. This was a great tour. Highly recommended.
Marzana, our tour guide, was wonderful - so knowledgeable and shared so much information. We really enjoyed the tour of all 3 areas, but glad we started out in the morning, because even in October it was pretty hot by the end. There's a lot of walking and stairs to go up and down, so be prepared. We did have a bathroom break with a bit of a rest about halfway through

The communication prior to the tour was very detailed and we knew exactly where to go. Our knowledgeable tour guide was so helpful and thoughtful. The Colosseum is beautiful! The tour operator was professional, however, did not speak very good English. Even in December and early morning timing, the place was still full and we can imagine how bad it could get in the peak summer months. We were with younger kids and felt a little rushed through the entire tour. Would have appreciated some time to take pictures and admire the displays in the small museum inside the Colosseum.
Celene was amazing and so engaging!! The kids (14 and 11) were totally captivated. She has a large group and engaged with all of us. She was so knowledgeable. Thank you for an amazing time!! Highly recommend booking!!!

We were supposed to be able to go into the arena and we didn’t get to. The guide seemed rushed even though we started earlier than booked. We didn’t have time to look at the museum exhibits. But mostly, I am disappointed that the advertised ability to walk where the gladiators walked didn’t happen. I complained and asked for a refund, I was ignored and dismissed without explanation. I expected better.
