A varied way to get to know Salzburg and hear history/stories.
Absolutely loved this treasure hunt. It was great value for money, included some fairly simple riddles and problems to solve which took us all over Salzburg and gave us fun facts about places we’d been to the day before but also led us to lots of places we wouldn’t have otherwise seen. This is exactly what we want from a treasure hunt and yours are the best we’ve done abroad. We have done several others that have been absolutely shocking, hard to download and expensive.
😊 Thank you so much for this fantastic review! We’re thrilled that you loved the treasure hunt and that it took you to both familiar places and hidden corners of Salzburg. Knowing that you’ve done several hunts abroad and found ours your favorite is an amazing compliment! 🗺️
World City Trail game was great. Everyone enjoyed doing the puzzles along the way. Zero pressure to rush through, it just gave us a great "itinerary " to start from that led us through the highlights efficiently. We strayed and saw other places, did things along the way, and picked it back up as we liked. The info provided about each place was interesting. The puzzles made us look closer and we saw details we would never have noticed on our own. Well worth the $4.
Thank you so much! 😊 A zero-pressure itinerary to start from, the freedom to stray and pick it back up as you liked, and puzzles that made you notice details you'd never have seen on your own, that's exactly the experience we set out to create in Salzburg! That you'll use World City Trail in other cities is the biggest compliment. With 167 available, your next adventure is already waiting! 🗺️
Best for group of friends who want to explore the city at their own pace and time. We did not have the time to try the suggestions in the app but overall the experience was good. Some clues are a bit difficult to understand especially at the end.
Thank you so much! 😊 Exploring Salzburg with friends at your own pace and time is exactly the experience we want to create! We take your note about some clues near the end being harder to understand on board, and remember our 24/7 chat at worldcitytrail.com/chat is always there if one has you stuck. We hope to welcome you on another adventure in a different city soon! 🗺️
Fun way to see the city. It allows you to just follow their path but veer off of it at any time, no pressure to decide what to do ahead of time AND no pressure to stick with their plan. Made us look closer at each place and gave us some cool info on the way.
Thank you so much Dottie! 😊 No pressure to plan ahead and no pressure to stick to the plan, with the freedom to veer off anytime while still looking closer at each place, that's exactly the relaxed experience we want to create in Salzburg! We hope to welcome you on another adventure in a different city soon! 🗺️
A great way to discover the old town of Salzburg. Easy to navigate. The I’ll definitely do this on our next trip!
Thank you so much! 😊 An easy-to-navigate way to discover Salzburg's old town, that's exactly what we want to offer! That you'll do it again on your next trip is the biggest compliment. With 167 cities available, your next adventure is already waiting! 🗺️
Great Tour with great riddles! Do it as the first thing so you naturally experience Salzburg and don't walk everything twice. :-) Can be started 24/7. The App is installed in a minute an can be used globally, perfect if you plan to visit several cities. Only need to buy ticket for 1 person, there is no add-on if several Tickets are purchased. We did it as a family with kids 6 and 8 year old and Oma. Would be good for kids to be 8+ to fully enjoy!
Thank you so much Matthias! 😊 Doing it first to experience Salzburg naturally, one ticket for the whole family playing together, and three generations from the kids to Oma all joining in, that's exactly the experience we want to create! Thanks too for the helpful tips for other families. We hope to welcome you all on another adventure in a different city soon! 🗺️
Beautiful and very interesting tour for young and old. We had fun with the whole family. I can only recommend it. 👌
Vielen Dank! 😊 Eine schöne und interessante Tour für Groß und Klein, bei der die ganze Familie Spaß hatte — genau das wollen wir bieten! Wir hoffen, Sie und Ihre Familie bald in einer anderen Stadt begrüßen zu dürfen! 🗺️
What a fun snd convenient way to explore Salzburg. The clues took us to amazing location all on walking distance and kept us engaged. Definitely recommend

Exciting and lovingly made with general explanations for the individual stations, then there are puzzles and legends as a reward. The paths are kept short and yet you can take a lot of time at the individual stations. Clear recommendation!
