This boat was noisy & you could smell the fuel. The seats were uncomfortable. We did however get a great look at the lanterns & got to light & let go of them as well. It was a water taxi so it was a great way to get where you’re going. Just not romantic at all.

Wrong Package: This review was posted under our "Romantic Boat Proposal" package, but our records show you actually booked a single-person photoshoot, the "Solo Lantern and boat" package.
Service Nature: We are a professional photography studio, not the boat operator or a water taxi company. The traditional wooden boats in Hoi An are managed by independent local boatmen. While we hire them to take you on the river for the photoshoot, we have no control over the boat's engine noise, fuel smell, or seating design.
Our core service is providing you with beautiful, high-quality photographs, and we hope you are happy with the pictures we delivered! We have also reached out to you privately via WhatsApp to resolve this misunderstanding.

I can’t recommend Trung enough! He went above and beyond to make my proposal in Hoi An absolutely unforgettable. From the very start, he helped me plan the entire surprise perfectly — arranging a decoy “tour” so my partner wouldn’t suspect a thing, setting up a stunning lantern-decorated boat, and even coordinating our pick-up from the hotel.
Trung disguised himself as our tour operator and captured the exact moment I popped the question — with perfect lighting, composition, and pure emotion in every shot. After that, he walked with us through the beautiful streets of Hoi An Ancient Town and took some incredible candid photos that we’ll treasure forever.
Also a huge shoutout to his partner Nam, who filmed some breathtaking videos of us throughout the evening.
