The day is about you and what you want to do. We drove through the gated community of Vila Moura. It is a beautiful upscale area that was fun to see. We continued along the coast to The beaches that gave us a view of the Benagil caves from the shore. From there we visited the Silves castle , followed by a lovely lunch in Sives at the restaurant Marisqueira Rui. Delicious ! Primarily seafood with great service. We completed our day with a wine tasting at the Quinta da Tor winery. We were given a brief tour followed by 4 tastings of your choice. The whole day was perfectly planned by our our guide Alfredo Da Silva A very passionate and proud Portuguese !! Highly recommended tour!!

It was easy to find the meet up location though we had to wait five minutes after the meet up time though they communicated that via whatsapp. We set out and they had drinks (cocktails, wine, port wine) for us with a cheese plate. They also had blankets which was needed given the breezes on the water. We sat in the front and had a fantastic view of the city with the guide offering a nice balance of telling us about the city and letting us soak it in. Once we went through the city and turned around we watched the sunset. Overall a beautiful experience. It is a beautiful upscale area that was fun to see. We continued along the coast to The beaches that gave us a view of the Benagil caves from the shore. From there we visited the Silves castle , followed by a lovely lunch in Sives at the restaurant Marisqueira Rui. Delicious ! Primarily seafood with great service. We completed our day with a wine tasting at the Quinta da Tor winery. We were given a brief tour followed by 4 tastings of your choice.
