Absolutely awesome crash course in the history of how Serbia became its own. I went with Marija and she is very knowledgeable, friendly, and will take great pictures of you if need it (aka solo traveler). I would definitely recommend.
We spent 3 hours walking around Belgrade with PEDJA and it was absolutely perfect! Pedja is a passionate and very fascinating historian who was able to share the history of Belgrade with us in an incredible way. He did not hesitate to go into the smallest details so that we could understand all the secrets of the city and the history of Serbia. We visited the four corners of the city from a historical point of view while he gave us good local recommendations. Go for it with your eyes closed, really. Thank you Pedja!! 🥰

This walking tour is soooo good. All the different neighborhoods, the architecture, the fortress, and the view of the rivers at sunset👌🏼. Plus Pedja was one of the best guides I have had anywhere. Had a marvellous walking tour of Belgrade with an outstanding, guide, Pedja. His knowledge of Serbian history was excellent and he combined this skilfully with unexpected stops at seemingly ordinary points, which I had previously walked by without noticing. He was able to link each site with a critical point in Serbia's tumultuous history. It also meant I got to understand the layout of the old city. Pedja was also kind and very generous with his time. He has inspired me to read more about the history of this region, but, meanwhile, gave me a university semester course in 2 hours, including over a very good coffee.
