Great way to see Sapporo and experience the Japanese way of daily life, as well as seeing things you never knew existed.

Our tour guide did not speak english, but she did her best with the translator app. I appreciated her trying her best. She was a local and I think that gave a special charm to the private tour. She was so kind and patient with us! It would have been nice to have someone help us through the Fish market but we managed. Additionally, the Takino Cemetery Budda was closed until March. You can go see the other statues at the Cemetery, but we really wanted to see the Budda.

We had a wonderful time with Tabi Daruma last year during our stay in Sapporo. We decided to go with them again not once but twice this year ever since we decided to come to Sapporo again. The driver we had this time was wonderful, he kept us updated the pick up areas frequently and knew where to recommend us for lunch. I hope they will have more tours so that we can join next time.

We had an amazing tour with heaps to see! Everything was well planned, and our driver (Yuki) was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. He was flexible and happy to customise the trip to what we wanted. Highly recommend!

This full-day adventure is great for those that want to see a lot but want to avoid the bus loads of tourists. Not only did we see Takino Cemetery, Hokkaido Shrine, and Shiroi Koibito Park, but also had time for more (I won’t list them, as your stops may vary based on where you spend your time). Our driver and guide Andrew (Go Scotland!) was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to adjust the tour as he went, making amazing recommendations. A special highlight for us was the lunch at Jyogai Fish Market. The food was incredible and seeing a fish market was high on our list. If you can swing the price, I suggest this tour to anyone who wants to pack a lot into one day!

Would highly recommend this your. Every answer that we had was answer learned a lot. Loved the large Buddha and hedge stone.

The driver did not speak English at all, so nothing was known about the history of the sites visited.

Orie was our guide; she was very friendly and accommodating. It was almost the end of Sakura season but per our request, she drove us to different places to find trees that are still in bloom. She found a park, and we were abe to take some beautiful pictures. She also suggested several places for lunch and let us choose. We finalized to a fish market and we had the best fresh seafood lunch ever!! Even though we don't speak Japanese, Orie used a translating app on the way to tell us the history/stories of the places that we went, and we were able to communicate with no problems. All of us had fun the whole trip. We would recommend Orie to anyone! If there was one thing to improve for this tour, I would like to receive a text either from the company or the guide the day before the trip with the guide's name & car info (type & license plate #). While I was waiting at the lobby, the hotel concierge asked for car/guide info so that they could help looking for my guide, but I was not able to provide any info. I believe a confirmation text on the day before the tour would solve the uncertainty of this situation. All in all, we had a great time and I believe the tour was fantastic!

Thank you Tomomi for making our Sapporo experience so memorable. We were worried about site seeing in the snow, but you are an excellent driver and guide. We enjoyed everything from the snow covered Buddha to the Hokkaido Shrine. It was the best day!

Our driver Keny! I had a fall on my second day in Sapporo. We had to alter our trip a bit. We did not want to go outlet shopping. Keny asked if we wanted to see the Butsugan-ji Temple. There was no one else there beside the older lady who was checking in visitors. Breathtaking! Thick fluffy snowflakes were falling and the sky was a bit grey…but there was just a moment, when the sunlight shown on the golden Nirvana Buddha, and it brought tears to my eyes. Besides that, Keny helped us so much with my wheelchair and crutches. I am coming back hopefully in a couple of months when my hip heals and I will definitely contact Keny again for another tour! Thank you Keny!
