I'm not one for writing a review but had to give these guys the credit they deserve. Booking via Viator was simple. Our driver and car details were made known to us the night before. We were picked up from our resort in the south dead on time and did the full private north tour. Our driver, Mervin, was brilliant. He gave us the history of the island as we made our way up north and answered any other questions we had. We did the usual tourist stops but flexed the itinerary to allow more time in the botanical gardens. Mervin was happy to park up and take a few photos of us at the local places of interest. Even made time for a quick dahl puri stop. Delicious. Overall the tour was certainly value for money. I would thoroughly recommend Chucky Taxi and ask for Mervin if he's available.

We had a wonderful time with our guide Mervin. He not only gave us helpful tips for driving on the island, but also provided a lot of interesting historical and cultural information. In addition, he took great photos of us, so we were able to take home beautiful memories. Our highlights were the Château de Labourdonnais with the rum tasting as well as the Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Botanical Garden. Afterwards, we ate at a seafood restaurant that was really very delicious. The souvenir shops at the Craft Market are rather a bit expensive. However, our guide did not pressure us at all to buy anything. The vendors on site are sometimes quite motivated, so it is worth taking a look at everything in peace first, comparing prices, and negotiating a little before you decide. Overall, it was a wonderful day and we can recommend the tour without reservation.

We had Mervin as our driver and we had to BEST day ever! It was so much fun and Mervin told us all the history as we were driving around, pointing out so much, showed us all around Port Louis craft market and showed us the best stops, would drop off our right outside where we needed to be and then would pick us up right outside! He was so much fun, and it was a very memorable and enjoyable day, would 100% recommend and try and ask for Mervin!! He was truley amazing and made the day amazing

Thank you for an absolutely lovely day, Sail.endwas an absolute gentleman and tailored the day bespoke to our needs. We weren't hungry and so We didn't want to go for something to eat. So he tailored the day accordingly. He was always there ready and waiting for us whether we were late or early back to the car after the time described. He was so friendly, told about the island and culture took us to places that we would never have been to on our own. The excursion to the north of Mauritius was beautiful. The driver, Arshif, informed us very well during the tour. He addressed our wishes individually. We can therefore recommend this excursion with a clear conscience.

Great day out saw plenty Devlin was our driver and takes you to lots of places. The main capital the north. The little church. Botanical gardens and to tortoises 🐢. Fantastic day and driver. Informative and would recommend. Also there was a chateau and rum tasting great 👍🏻
