Service provider available and responsive.. Taxi to the hour friendly driver.. Everything was perfect. I highly recommend it.
I booked the taxi to Ile aux Cerfs with Chucky Taxi and it went well. When I arrived at Trou d'Eau Douce to board a boat, the driver helped me book the round trip boat with the agency on site. I also booked the BBQ lunch on the island with the agency because it was really cheap. What I really liked about Chucky Taxi is that he is available and quick via Whatsapp to respond to our taxi requests. I needed a taxi to take me from my hotel to Port-Louis for a food tour and then another taxi at the end of the tour to take me to the airport for my return flight. Everything was arranged quickly and the taxi driver was very punctual. Prices were also reasonible! I recommend Chucky for your taxi journeys.
We were arriving by cruise ship into Port Louis and wanted to play golf on Ile aux Cerfs so needed transport. Our driver, Sahil, arrived early, was easy to find with our name on a sign and was an excellent driver. He told us interesting information and history on Mauritius and even took us to a waterfall on the way. We golfed at the incredibly beautiful Ile aux Cerfs Golf Club and Sahil came back in the evening to collect us. His car was clean, comfortable with good AC. Highly recommend this company for private transport in Mauritius.
Chucky is a 4th generation islander, and a 2nd generation taxi driver. Hands down the best taxi experience I’ve had anywhere. Over this week I’ve learned about the beautiful mentality of the Mauritian people, and Chucky is the absolute embodiment of this. He drove us from our hotel to the hiking trial head very safely and securely, and kept us entertained on the way. All for a more than honest price. I could not recommend this taxi enough in 10 reviews. Look no further than here.

I never made the excursion to Deer Island by any means using what I had planned ..... because despite I had paid and from the site it was intended that the taxi was included from any hotel and I would have paid more taxes or extra expenses if I wanted to make another excursion and so after the payment was deducted from the voucher in fact I was entitled only to a taxi that would take me from where the catamaran left that would leave at 8.30 only problem: with the taxi I had agreed to leave at 9.00 in the morning from the hotel! conclusion I paid a taxi x 2 adult people (have you ever heard that you pay a taxi per person!) 128 euros and I used it 2 days later to get taken somewhere else taking a different tour that would have cost me the taxi 50 euros!
Hello madam, first of all, when you booked me, i contacted you by whatsapp like i always do with all my guests, and EXPLAINED to you that me i am ONLY the taxi to pick you from your hotel, bring you to the trou d'eau douce embarcation point to go the island, and over there, you will have to pay for the type of boat you want to get to the island. i wait for you the whole day and bring you back to your hotel in the evening. when i explained you this, you had booked me for monday, you told me you will go on wednesday now, i said okay. instead of booking the island trip, you booked another trip at the shandrani hotel. tho the distance was much more far, i did not claim you more money. now when you told me you have to be at the pick up point YOU BOOKED at 8.30hr, i told you we must leave earlier from your hotel. if you had not booked, and you would have gone for the speed boat, you can even leave at 9a.m. And 1 last thing, you can ask any of my guests, no one paid the taxi PER PERSON ! 128 euro is for the car !! 1-4 persons. i think you made a big confusion with your booking. if you had another taxi to pick you from INTERCONTINENTAL HOTEL at 7 a.m to bring you to SHANDRANI hotel wait for you there the whole day and drop you back to the intercontinental in the afternoon at 18.30hr, for 50£, why did you not cancel your booking with me? You would have been refunded. :) Thank you a lot for your review, hope this will help other guests.
