This trip of the south was worth it - beautiful scenery- the gorge, waterfalls and the 7 colored earth and also got to learn a lot about Mauritius and its culture from the guide. The weather was not the best, but Chucky was very strategic on where to go first and although it rained, everything worked out beautifully!

We did a total of three tours on Mauritius with Chucky – the North Tour, the South/Southwest Tour, and the Five Islands Speedboat Tour – and we are really more than satisfied! It could not have been better for us. Chucky is super reliable, always punctual, and just a really great guide. He explains a lot about Mauritius and the individual places, drives very carefully, and you can just tell that it is important to him that you have a wonderful day. Everything is totally relaxed and uncomplicated. We felt really comfortable with him from the very beginning. Chucky is incredibly friendly and warm, and after a short time, it feels almost as if you are out and about with a friend. Booking directly through him is also completely uncomplicated. Everything worked out perfectly – punctual, reliable, and really great service. We can truly recommend Chucky's Taxi with all our hearts. Anyone who comes to Mauritius and wants to get to know the island should definitely do their tours with Chucky. Sahil was a great guide for the day - turned up to the minute and was very knowledgeable on everywhere he took us to plus all of the adhoc questions we asked during the day. Really easy tour to book and reliable, highly recommend!

We really enjoyed this tour. What made it stand out for me was the quality of the tour company. They were very proactive in tailoring the tour to our needs and being very clear about the logistics in advance. On the day, they arrived on time. The car used was spotlessly clean, and the tour guide, Mervin, was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the day, helping to make it special. I have no hesitation in recommending this tour.

This day was incredible from start to finish. Our guide Sahil was perfect. Arrived on time. His car was immaculate and his manners impeccable. Knowledgeable and informative from the start. We learned so much and had so many laughs. If you don’t do a trip like this you’re definitely missing out. We saw mountains, waterfalls and a sacred lake. Learnt about Hinduism. Saw monkeys, a hundreds year old tortoise and multi coloured sands. The best day that you could imagine. Thanks again Sahil. Tremendous, you are a credit to your profession.

So much to see. Waterfalls tortoises rum factory and tasting. Temple and statues and monkeys. Volcanic crater. Some shops. Take some insects cream in case you get bites as you in and out the car lots among the foliage. Our driver was Mervin and he was a lovely guy. Took us to a tea plantation at our request and we took some pictures with a worker we were all happy. Thanks Mervin for a great day and lots of memories 😊

Devin was a great driver / guide. Turned up on time and was friendly, knowledgeable and polite. He tailored the tour to suit what we wanted to do and was happy for us to spend longer at some of the stops and miss out one that we didn’t want to do. Overall great value for money and significantly cheaper than doing it through our tour operator. Great day out that we both really enjoyed!
