Great driver/ guide. Showed us the main areas. He was knowledgeable and helpful. Also found us a great lunch place!

We had to delay this tour to Tuesday as the Rhumerie was closed on Sunday. Chukie organised the change with no issue. Suhil our guide was incredibly kind and knowledgeable, he knows everything there is to know about the Island amd the various sites, his driving is incredibly careful and relaxing. The itinerary is planned based on your hotel location and you never feel rushed or overwhelmed. I would 100% recommend this tour just like the North Island tour which we also experienced with Chukie Taxi

Picked up on time from hotel, car was very clean and air conditioned. Asif our driver was fantastic, very knowledgeable and personable. We did change our itinary and he was very happy to oblige. Would thoroughly recommend this trip and Asif!

Chucky was awesome. He helped coordinating a Southwest tour for us and he himself took care of our airport transfer. He is so professional, prompt in his communication and exceeded expectations at every occasion. Highly recommend.

Firstly, a huge thank you to Chucky Taxis. They were incredibly friendly, flexible, and accommodating. I had to change my tour date twice at short notice, and they still made sure I could have Asif again after I specifically requested him following my fantastic North Tour. The South Tour was amazing. We visited Chamarel Seven Coloured Earth, Chamarel Waterfall, Alexandra Falls, the temple near the giant statues, Black River Gorges, the famous 52 bends, beautiful viewpoints, and even caught a stunning sunset. Asif was brilliant as always. He is incredibly knowledgeable, answered every question I had, and shared so much interesting information throughout the day. We spent most of the drive chatting and laughing, and he even let me play my own music again. When it started raining, he already had an umbrella ready for me. I also enjoyed Curious Corner, the model ship workshop, souvenir shopping, and seeing a Paille en Queue. I never felt rushed and had plenty of time to explore. These tours have been a highlight of my holiday, and I highly recommend both Chucky Taxis and Asif:)

Excellent private tour with a fantastic driver! We had an amazing experience with Chucky during our stay in Mauritius. He was punctual, professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about the island. The tour was perfectly organized, and he took us to some of the most beautiful places in Mauritius while sharing interesting information about the local culture, history, and daily life. What we appreciated most was that he never rushed us. We had enough time at every stop, and he made sure we enjoyed the day at our own pace. The communication before the tour was excellent, and everything was exactly as agreed. The price was very fair and the service exceeded our expectations. We went out with Chucky’s taxis twice whilst out in Mauritius. We did both a tour of the North and a tour of the South. Our guides were Chucky (North) and Sahil (South). Both were fantastic; so pleasant, informative and patient. We have two girls aged 8 and 10 and the guides customised the tours to them in terms of length and activities. As adults, we learned so much from Chucky and Sahil about Mauritius, its history and the people who live there. We got some fantastic photos and the girls picked up some lovely souvenirs at the fixed price Port Louis craft market. Our drivers were safe and had air conditioned good quality vehicles. They were on time and couldn’t have been kinder to us if they had tried.

Top outing to the sights as we wanted. Always recommendable. Great guide, a local who knows his way around and is familiar with the traffic.

Quite a mixture of sites to see. Buddhist cultural complex was amazing plus the various geology/landscape formations were beautiful and educational. Devin, our tour guide, was helpful and shared plenty of cultural information.
