We had an excellent experience on this tour. Peru has such wonderful cuisine with unique preparations and flavor combinations. Our guide JJ was very knowledgeable and fun to talk to. He introduced us to hidden gem restaurants we would have otherwise never known about, including a restaurant that served food using ingredients from the Amazon. This was actually one of the reasons we chose this specific tour. This was the only Peruvian food tour I found that included Amazonian food. We came hungry and left full by the end of the tour.

Chef Fabricio and the guide Alexis are the perfect combination.
An unforgettable, personalized, and professional experience, thanks to the attentive service of Alexis and Fabricio. You enjoy the process, the learning of incorporating new knowledge and cooking techniques. Chef Fabricio is a genius, who with his knowledge and patience allowed me, in a wonderful way, to connect with Peruvian cuisine. I also enjoyed getting to know the typical places thanks to Alexis, who accompanied me to the markets where the ingredients are bought like a local, and even tasting the delicacies learned, in an elegant setting with the best views of the city.

I’m glad that I took this...
I’m glad that I took this food tour, otherwise I would not venture to this non tourist part of town. We got to visit 2 markets , talking about tropical fruits, Peruvian staples and spices, eat like a local. My favorites were the ceviche and lucuma smoothie. Our tour guide, Stephano, was attentive, informative, knowledgeable and funny, making the activities more memorable . Highly recommended.

Excellent local tastes, highly recommended!
This tour was a great way to sample some of the local fruits and dishes of Peru. Amadeus did a wonderful job of explaining the different foods and their cultural origins. The local colorful bustling markets were a treat to visit, and we were quite full by the end of the tour!
