Local Food and the Catacombs - Fab Day in Lima
Incredible day touring Lima. The Convent of San Francisco can’t be missed! The catacombs are like none you’ll ever see!! The best part of the day was our guide Jean Carlo. He was incredibly knowledgeable, passionate about his country, his profession, history and so professional, courteous and a great sense of humor. Experiencing the real food of Lima was fascinating and filling :-). He accommodated my need for gluten free food and we had the best ceviche, fresh crab meat, super fun to learn about all of the local exotic fruits and the corn juice is super tasty!! Awesome day strolling among the crowds in Lima and who knew about Chifa’s, I do now!!

Highlight of Lima
Superb tour. Perfect for navigating Peruvian cuisine. Our guide, Geraldine, was knowledgeable and passionate about local food. The pisco sour to end the tour was a highlight.

A different tour to do in Lina and get to know the local culture
It was a really cool and different experience to get to know the local street food gastronomy. The Yoced guide told us about the foods and other curiosities of Peruvian culture. If you like street food and want a different experience I highly recommend it.

Great food and a fun, informative tour
We had a great food tour with Alex as our guide. The food was all good - esp the causa and ceviche and the pork sandwich at the end. Alex was extremely knowledgeable not only about the food but about broader questions we had around healthcare and education in Peru and agriculture in the economy. We all enjoyed the tour and came away more than full.

Lima food and historic center tour
The tour was very informative. The guide had a great sense of humour, knew a lot about the history and was overal very accomodating. We got to try out different kinds of local food, from appetisers, to streetfood, to main dishes, to desserts and food. Make sure not to eat beforehand!

Recommended food tasting tour
Gerald tge guide took us through a great tour through the hidden places an foid stands mostly known to locaks only. It was very tasty and the historical stories and detailed explanations of the local gastronomy were very interesting. You should come hungry as you get a lot to eat in this tour. I highly recommend the tour as well as Gerald specifically
