Great beach/bar/water! Would have been a much better experience if it didn’t take an hour after we arrived to get our first drinks. We weren’t told there was VIP ahead of time. We paid for the VIP which included private waiter. We went to the bar for drinks which was faster. Maybe be faster or just offer the VIP’s a welcome drink when they arrive. Also, an odd rule was we could only have one drink at a time which includes water, either you have water or a drink, not both. The food was subpar and they don’t offer any additional snacks.

Dennis and team did a wonderful job with the coordination and being responsive during our trip. Would recommend to everyone and will be using his team again!

This is my second time using Dennis and his travel team to fulfill our travel needs and once again we were treated like VIP. They made sure we were well taken cared of and save you some coin. If you haven’t booked his services already, do yourself a favor and get it done NOW. I’ve already passed his info over to several ppl. Excellent service. The crew on the boat was excellent. I highly recommend it. Jose and Luis Fernando were warm and welcoming. They made the whole experience amazing.

We thought we were safe booking this JANDT Colombia tour with Viator, as we have had many positive Viator tours. This was by far the worst tour we have ever booked with Viator. If you wish to book a tour to the Rosario Islands, book through your hotel or the beach resorts in the islands directly. We booked this tour through Viator and a representative, Dennis, from J and T tours reached out to tell us that we wouldn’t be able to go on the normal tour because it was booked up. Instead, he offered a tour that had an open bar, cabanas (see pictures he sent us), towels, and lunch. We agreed to this alternative tour in good faith. When we arrived, we weren’t greeted with a drink or towels or a cabana or an open bar. We were greeted with hot, empty beach chairs and told that we had to pay for towels and drinks. The VIP section above had an open bar, cabanas, and towels, but we were informed that our tickets were for a classic ticket only (no towels, no alcohol, no cabanas). We spoke with others from our boat and a staff member from the beach resort. We were informed that we had paid 30% more than the price of a VIP ticket and had received a classic ticket. I messaged with Dennis and asked him to fix the situation but he kept saying he was confused even though he was communicating in English very clearly. We had to have a kind, bilingual friend of ours call Dennis, our tour operator. Despite my messages, he kept saying he didn’t understand the problem and was confused. As soon as our friend threatened to call the police and report him and his company, he dropped the facade and agreed to fix our tickets. He called the beach resort and changed our tickets to VIP so that we were given all of the tour inclusions we had been promised. This situation took almost an hour and by the time we were admitted to VIP, all of the cabanas were taken, except for the ones in the back next to the giant subwoofer and out of the view of the beach. We did not find this experience relaxing or luxury. Please do yourself a favor and do not book with this company.

We were a little nervous about picking a Rosario day trip after looking at the options and reading some of the other reviews for other companies’ trips. But we hit the jackpot! This was a perfect experience! Fantastic boat rides both ways (a little bumpy, but I kinda love that, and no one else got sick or seemed to mind much). The island we went to had a couple of nice little separate beach areas, not too crowded, shady, and only a couple of local vendors trying to sell us stuff. We had a couple hours to rest and play in the water. Water is shallow all the way to buoys, but the bottom is pretty rocky and grassy. Nice lunch (warning: if you order the fish, it’s a full fried fish, head, tail, bones, etc. as is the traditional serving in Cartagena), then a couple more hours and we returned to shore. Huge shoutout to the tour guide Marlon, who spoke very good English and went out of his way at every step of the trip to be sure that the handful of us who didn’t speak much Spanish were given the information we needed in English. Super nice and friendly! Thank you for making us feel so safe and comfortable!

Wonderful tour. They offer a stay on a private beach, very safe, beautiful, quiet and with excellent infrastructure. Something much better than what I read in reports from other companies. There were towels and beds available on the beach. Very good lunch with vegetarian option. Showers and clean toilet. Punctual and well organized tour. Great communication from the team. I recommend it.
