プンチャック・ボゴール＝チャンジュルは山岳観光地域であり、ボゴール市よりも涼しい地域である。 プンチャックはジャカルタの南東70kmに位置する。 プンチャック地域は、南にゲデ・パングランゴ山脈、北にジョンゴル山脈（しばしばプラブ・シリワンギの森と呼ばれる）の麓と斜面の間に位置している。 大部分がゲデ・パングランゴ国立公園地域に含まれる。 山岳観光エリアとして国内外の観光客で有名である。 プンチャック地区は、涼しさと自然の美しさからジャカルタ住民の休憩地として知られ、オランダ語植民地政府が建設した茶園で、現在はPT Perkebunan Nusantara VIII Gunung Masが所有する茶園となっている。

The paragliding was really fun and I would have loved to go twice. The tea plantation was beautiful and welcome tea was delicious. Being a new tour the tour guide was not as familiar with the places and provided little information but he was very friendly and had other pleasant conversations.
