Well worth the cost, a very smooth experience from start to finish. Even though the meeting point is outside of the central Florence area it was very easy to get to on the train. Wine was great and the presentations they gave were enjoyable! The only thing that is sad is that the wineries we toured are unavailable for purchase from stores and you have to order directly through them. From Canada this would be $$$$. The tour guide Marco was excellent!
The activity itself is interesting but there is a lot of travel by bus. The two visits to the vineyards were really quick. Our biggest disappointment is that we had requested a tour in French and we learned less than 24 hours before the event that the tour would be in English. We could no longer cancel for a refund.
Excellent guide Marta, well-prepared and available for everything, and the driver was very cautious and calm.
